Holidays just aren’t the same for me since I moved out of the city. Being back in my hometown of Lush Prairie isn’t exactly what I expected. I now have a front-row seat to my perfect siblings living their perfect lives and I feel more alone than ever. With Christmas just around the corner, the pressure is on to be merry and bright. It’s taking everything in me to avoid decking my family’s halls when they try to bring joy to my world.
But when a trip to a local toy store leaves me stuck with my ex for the night, I find myself searching for the mistletoe.
