Very Insightful

Amazing research created this book. I love the way historic events coincide and eventuate in logical explanations for several phenomena.
I'm gonna reread with a bible and a map at hand.

Narrator unprofessional

Narrator stumbles and drops an F bomb in chapter 8 around 24:05. This is very unprofessional and should not have been tolerated or published. Additionally, there are many mispronunciations and the narrator seems rushed and uninterested in the content. I will be very hesitant about listening to any other titles by this narrator, Joseph Kent.

good story bad reader

The reader of this book stumbled a total of 8 times and on the fifth time he actually drops the F bomb!? highly unprofessional and even more so for the editor who left the stumbles in the audio book! The grade of the book itself is of high value with all of the treasured information poured in to this masterpiece however the grade of this book has to be reduced because of its poor performer and poor editor. still I would, despite the flubs, highly recommend this book if you don't have the time to actually buy the hard copy.

The Awakening.

Great book. Well researched and put together. Recommended read to learn black history before slavery.

Great untold history in this book.

Narration was great!
Content of the book is great knowledge for all people.

Side note: The narrator marked the edit points but sadly the audio was not edited.

Great information terrible reading with errors

The information is great and well organizing leaving little room for argument. The performance includes at least 3 noticeable errors. 1 error included profanity. With edits to the performance I'd give this book 5 stars.

Reader drops F Bomb by mistake

Should be taught in every high school. I recommend buying the hard copy as well, because it should be read slowly and carefully. As I stated in the heading however, I was shocked when the Reader blunders and dropped the F!! Bomb. Luckily, my children were not listening at the time. Would like to get that edited out, other than that, reader does a decent job.
