Publisher's Summary

Rachel has finally come to terms with the outrageously unfair fact that her younger sister, Miri, has inherited magical powers from their mom. But now the whole witchcraft thing is spiraling out of control. Mom is a magicaholic, Miri's on a Save the World kick, and the one teeny tiny love spell that Rachel begged for has gone embarrassingly, horribly wrong.

Suddenly, the fate of everything is in Rachel's hands.

Her family.

The world.

The senior prom....

I loved all of these stories!

I listened to them without another audio break. The story line is certainly teenage trauma/drama. Sarah Mlynowski certainly wrote about all of humanity when it comes to love, acceptance and young perspective of the world. I can't imagine another narrator, Ariadne Meyers did such a good job, she IS Rachel. Too much fun. I highly recommend. This is book 2 in the series. Do yourself a favor and listen to them in order.

Fun, creative story

I listened this book as a tween and decided recently to give it another go as a 21-year-old. I wanted something fast-faced and lighthearted to get me through long and boring days as work. This book definitely did the trick, but I was also surprised by how genuinely likable and creative the story is. I haven't read much YA lit lately, and I had forgotten how fun it can be to get immersed in it.

This story is super entertaining, and I'm glad that I came back to it. I might even use my next credit for the next book.

Great Read - Where is Spells & Sleeping Bags?

The books keep on getting better. The narator is great and the story content is great. If you liked Bras & Broomsticks you will love this one also.
