For 21-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn't anything new. They'd been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the man in man-whore. He's never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn't want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.

Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she's perfect and she's everything. But the feelings he has for her, he's always hidden away or focused on any other female. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.

But when they're stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive nor'easter, there's nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life changer in more ways than one.

It was nice to see a different type of book BUT I ALWAYS LOVE ALL HER BOOKS! The narrator's did an ok job.....Well LET ME REWORD THAT Rock did an awesome job but Marisa Struggled a bit! 😔 In My Honest Opinion!

This girl is dumb

Spoiler alert

If a girl has been pining over a guy since pre teen and all she can think about is nhaving sex with him, how does she get anything else done. Seriously make a move. Or be a women and tell him nhow you feel. He is a posessive, over bearing, man whore and not worth her time. He doesn't want to always be sleeping around but he still does anyway. Not a good guy.

Four stars for Rock only.

Oh my goodness, I almost could not finish this because of the way Marisa read her part of the book. She was absolutely terrible and her voice drove me crazy. Rock, however; did an amazing job as Kyler. If it were not for him, I probably would not have finished this book.

The only reason why I continued was because I wanted to see what happened and I like Jennifer as an author. This is a little different than some of her previous works. I would not recommend this to anyone under the age of 18.

meh.

I love JL's books. This one was...meh. There was the suspense of someone stalking them but these two just kept at it like "well that's weird"

not her best work but was still worth the credit

Tired of annoying FMCs

The FMC was annoying as hell. This is New Adult but should be label YA. All that annoying headspace angst ruined the story for me.

I loved the story!

I loved the story. I thought the plot was good and the climax of the story was great.
I have never listened to a smutty audio book before (I've only ever read them myself). Therefore I thought that the sex scenes were a bit strange to be listening to.
I also had issues matching the voices of the characters to the pictures of them I had in my head. I also felt that the woman voice actor had some moments where she didn't seem emotional enough, and that bugged me.
Overall it was a pretty good listen though.

Good story but a irritating heroine

I liked the story but the almost stupid heroine was a let down, that’s the reason for the 4 stars
What I did like and not like about this story:

* The narrators was pleasant to listen to but if I should point out something it must be that their voices don’t match. With that I mean when the chapters switched and the male voice cam I had to turn up the sound and when the female voice came I had to turn down. I’m not an expert on audiobooks but it’s frustrating to have to regulate the sound so frequently. Otherwise they each did very good on pronunciation and putting feelings into the reading.
* There’s no unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
* Dialogues is plenty and keeps it interesting
* Tasteful Love scenes
* The storyline is good and keeping the thread all the way through
* My big NO was that the heroine didn’t communicate and over and over again did thing she specifically agreed beforehand NOT to do.

I wish someone could tell me if the other books in this series has a equally ignorant heroine or not.

Predictable, annoying narrators

The story was very predictable. The male narrator is awful and when the female narrator read’s in the guy’s voice, it sounds like Naruto.

Bad narration killed it for me. Basic romance

Coming from reading SJM, this was a poor choice to try JLA. The female narrator had an almost robotic, stilted quality and was so at odds with the male counterpoint. The story is okay...but not a favorite.

Surprisingly, just "ok"

Really enjoy most Jennifer L. Armentrout books; however, this one was just so-so. I just couldn't get behind the narrators. Marisa Vitali didn't change her voice to indicate which character was speaking so I spent a lot of time determining who said what. Rock Engle was better but I couldn't envision the cast of character through his voice. The storyline was tired and predictable.
