Publisher's Summary

A gift that's too good to be true. A murder she didn't commit. A barista in a latte trouble...

Mitzy Moon believes she's an orphan, so she's dumbstruck when a special delivery to her low-rent apartment reveals a family. But her shock turns to awe when she discovers her grandmother left her a fortune and a bookshop of rare tomes brimming with magic.

No sooner does she set foot in the quirky village of Pin Cherry Harbor to claim her inheritance, than the handsome sheriff catches her standing over a corpse. Desperate to prove her innocence, she's forced to accept help from her granny's entitled cat and a spirit from beyond the grave.

Can Mitzy and her otherworldly helpers uncover the real killer before the long, sexy arm of the law hauls her to jail?

Addicting Story 5/5

Trixie Silvertale ---You have a winner with the “MITZY MOON MYSTERIES”. I am hooked and want them to go on and on.

Excellent and interesting characters. Setting is to die for (pun intended). The action and feeling developed during the story are addicting.

I started with the first book to give it a listen. Then I bought the next 3. Now I’m back for more.

Applause to Trixie Silvertale and narrator Coleen Marlo----What a great team.

Such a fun series!

Everything about this audiobook is amazing. I loved the story, and definitely giggled my butt off at Mitzy's ridiculousness. She cracks me up and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what happens between her and Sheriff Hot Stuff.
Coleen Marlo killed it with the narration. I forgot I was listening to a story because the narration had me immersed from the first chapter.
All in all this is a great start to the series. I highly recommend it!

Great all around

A hoot and a holler! I have first the 3 book set and after reading book 1 I had to check for audio and I am so please to see that Coleen Marlo is narrating. She narrates the Wishcraft series by Heather Blake (awesome series) so I knew this would be great also. Thank you Ladies!

Great Freshmen Opener for New Cozy Mystery

This is a hysterical beginner book for a new series. Imagine inheriting a magical book store from a grandma you never knew you had...and the real surprise is that grandma's ghost is still with you in the store. "Ghostma" is a hoot, not shy, and not prudish!! She and her granddaughter prove quite a team.

Excellent fun read.

I love Mitzy's snarky humor!

Mitzy's drastic change in life shows how much she's rough around the edges. I'm not sure what it saiys about me that I get all her jokes, but I love it. I read the book and listened to the audio book, and the reader did a great job bringing it to life for me.

Absolutely delightful!

It was so much fun to have one of my favorite cozy mysteries come to life through the wonderful narration by Colleen Marlo. I enjoyed revisiting the snarky, insecure young woman who unexpectedly inherits a bookstore in a place she's never heard of only to find a cute town sheriff who accuses her of murder almost as soon as she steps of the bus. As Mitzy explores her new home she discovers a ghost, an alchemist lawyer, a long lost father and whole cast of wonderful characters. I love this audio version of a thoroughly enjoyable book and can't wait to hear more!

A fun cozy mystery

I like this book, a really fun mystery with a great heroine who has lots of attitude, an interfering ghostly grandmother, a remarkable Caracal and various quirky characters. Mitzy Moon a struggling Barista inherits a bookshop in a small town and is accused of murder within an hour of arriving. This starts the action, and the appearance of her grandmothers ghost just tops the day off. A really well written fun murder mystery with some lovely dialogue, an entertaining story with fun supernatural elements, The audiobook is well performed and easy to listen to. Highly recommended

Enjoyable

I came across this story when i was looking for a new cozy mystery series.

I don't do much paranormal however i enjoyed our Casper in this one.

Fun narration (though a couple of times I thought she sounded like Jane from Daria (And now I am showing my age).

I liked our snarky leading lady Mitzy and the spark between her and the Sheriff.

I look forward to more of this series
