Lennox is a knowledgeably wise biblical scholar. Though he is considered more Mathematician, his love for God’s Word and his scholarly care to detail brings the story of Abraham to life in a new and inviting way.

An outstanding indepth book by an outstanding author

Can't say anything but good about this book. John Lennox is such a treasure as a Christian speaker and apologist, and this book continues to build on that tradition of excellence. Insightful into the life and history of Abraham in the Bible, with the quick humor of the author that makes him so easy and enjoyable to understand on deeper thoughts and wisdom. I highly recommend it!

A beautiful way to experience Abraham all over again!

John Lennox does a great job thinking through the narrative story of Abraham and God’s plan for him and the world. If you are a fan of Lennox’s work and the Word of God, this will not disappoint. Also, it is great that it is his voice you hear narrating.

What an epic account of Abraham

As a husband, father and Christian I really enjoyed this book. The flawed people the creator uses and struggles to trust in the author of life and his plans for them.

Excellent Links with New Testament

The whole story is engaging and wonderful, as with the rest Lennox’s writing. But, what really helped me most, was his clear explanation of Abraham in the New Testament, especially the doctrine of justification by faith.

Truth

Making God real in a historical and modern day sense. The atheistic and materialist view point have been pushed on us from childhood. When their theories are disproven or overturned they change the narrative to suit the next theory. They have lost their credibility with me after hearing a lifetime of changing stories!

John Lenox does nit disappoint, this is probably one of his best books. Thankful for his wisdom.

Is John Lennox what else do I need to say? John puts his entire life into this wonderful novel. my life is definitely been changed by listening to him parse the Word of God thank you Lord for John and give him many more years

John Lennox speaks absolute Truth. In a world that can’t figure out what truth really is, he lays out in Friend of God the difficult path that we follow to know the God we worship. Using the story of Abraham we follow the mistakes and miscalculations but eventual glory of the Promise of God to him. Incredible story
