This is one story you shouldn't miss.

This story had me smiling throughout! It's cute, funny, and a little steamy. I Loved all the characters. Lots of chemistry between the leads. I think you'll be happy you chose this book.
The dual Narration worked well for this. They were both excellent!

Adolescent Book made worse by female narrator

What did you like best about Friend-Zoned? What did you like least?

Girl with a tragic past has overcomes it to be a positive, kind woman with a group of close friends. I wanted to like this book as the heroine seems to be plucky and strong. It may have been an okay book to read but listening to it really annoyed me. The narration of the heroine's part was way over the top. It was like sitting in the booth next to a bunch of high school girls that are chattering away over dramatically. The sound made when the squeaky shop door opened was just irritating!

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Didn't make it to the end.

Would you be willing to try another one of Eleanor Gwyn and Douglas Berger ’s performances?

Sorry - I'm not an Eleanor fan.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

It most probably would be a Lifetime movie. I'd watch it on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Loved it!!!

What a ride and I loved every bit of it! Finally a book that allows the characters to develop and get to know each other.

Great story!!

This was a wonderful story. I loved the fact that the two main characters had a chance to slowly get to know one another before they became a couple. It was not that instant falling in love a first sight. The secondary characters also made this a wonder book. My only issue was at times was the female narrator voice. I think this would have been better just with Douglas Berger doing the narrating. He was excellent in this Audio version. I do think that I will take a chance and listen to the next book in this series.

Adorable! Loved it!

To be perfectly honest within the first 15 minutes of listening to this book I was about to give up on it. Thankfully I didn't! At first the female narrator irritated the snot out of me, she's incredibly peppy and sounds ditzy as all get out but then I realized she was PERFECT for Tina. Tina is super peppy and positive most of the time despite terrible emotional scars and trauma, and let's face it, she's kind of a ditzy goofball. I absolutely loved it though, she is incredibly humorous and brings out the best in Nick. The male narrator did a great job as well! This book made me laugh out loud so many times and tear up also. The first word that comes to mind when I think of this book is adorable, although I usually enjoy a good steamy romance I enjoyed the banter and interactions between the characters so much that I couldn't have cared less about the steamy parts (although I did enjoy those parts as well) . I barely stopped smiling throughout the entire book, definitely worth a credit or buy!

Funny but not consistently witty.

Fuuny but there was too much content crammed into one storyline. Too many subplots. like watching a Moonlighting marathon.

annoyed

This book started off great for me. There was an independent leading lady and a brooding man won over through the power of friendship. I love these friends to lovers stories, however this one went awry for me. The heroine was a bit annoying. I liked that she was written as sweet and quirky but her odd humor got old really fast. Also the dialogue and situations were a but cheesy. Often times it came off as unnatural. I also felt like there were too many half baked side stories ; after awhile it started to drag.

Douglas Berger was great. I will look out for more of his performances. However, Eleanor Gwyn was not my favorite. She was too over the top, her male impersonations weren't the greatest and she made Tina even more annoying than she is on paper. I found myself just waiting for her to finish so I could get back to Douglas Berger

Highly disappointing!

All the stupid sounds....
and the narrator's voice didn't help! I struggled to finish this book. Whoever wrote great reviews lied. Do not waste your credit on this book.

Definitely not her best book

Maybe for 2015 it was a hit. It is funny at points, sexy not so much. The female voice is excessively happy for a book I can understand why some reviews were negative regarding the performance. To be honest it is the first book from Belle that I did not finished.

Horrible! Waste of money!

Would you try another book from Belle Aurora and/or Eleanor Gwyn and Douglas Berger ?

Absolute not, the author is not a good writer, she needs a better editor! Eleanor Gwyn's narration made me want to drive my car off the road, she was that bad. Worst audible experience!

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The plot could have worked had the characters made sense.

Any additional comments?

Will never buy any audible with Eleanr Gwyn narrating.
