If you love FRENCH language, try this book.

From the first story, I was picking up on words here and there, and by the end of it, I was thinking in French again without having to translate to English to understand. That being said, this book would help literally anyone at any stage of learning the language. It even encourages you to not get stuck and tackles issues that a lot of other language learning books ignore, like how direct translation can hinder learning.

I had fun reading the stories.

I have studied French only at school, but I've always considered myself an admirer of its beauty. When I saw this book, I thought it would be a wonderful opportunity for me and other people in the same situation to brush up my knowledge. The book contains original short stories for beginner to low intermediate levels, with some English translations throughout them. It's a very fun and entertaining way to learn a language because stories evolve around different everyday situations, such as family, weather, shopping etc.

Awesome for just learning.

This book is a great way to learn French. I have studied French before but I learn best when I am fully immersed in a language. This was a great way to read stories and learn at the same time. It takes some studying and real thinking about the use of words and the order difference from English. But it is a very good way to perfect your French. I have the Kindle version, but I would suggest getting the paper copy so you can make copies and easily keep tabs on certain vocab you may forget.

Best, French Short Stories for Beginners.

J'ai trouvé que les histoires étaient parfait pour mon niveau. C'était une bonne chose d'avoir l'option d'écouter ou de lire premièrement. (I found the stories were perfect for my level. It was good to have the option to listen or read first.)

Excellent book, learn French here.

What I enjoy about this book is that there is explanations of wording immediately after the paragraph. Rather than having a foot note at the bottom of the pages and not quite grasping what the word is, it immediately tells me what I want/need to know. This will help grow and polish my French vocabulary.

listen it carefully for more understanding.

Love this book and it's easy and great tasting recipes. Works well for gluten intolerant people too. By the end, it definitely pays off, I already noticed that my ability to understand French is improving when I watch videos on Netflix. By the end of the day it's all about training your ear, the more you listen the more you understand.

language learning practice.

This book is great for people whose French is still not at the level that would allow you to the language at a normal to fast speed and with a vocabulary that is in a regular novel. In these books the reader speaks slowly so that you have time to identify words where your recognition is still not completely automatic.

I enjoyed this book as a brush-up on the language

Having taken French in High School for two years, I enjoyed this book as a brush-up on the language. I also learned new words with the correct pronunciations, and how to use them in context. I recommend this to anyone desiring to further explore the French language.

Excellent Learning Tool.

This book focuses on convenient topics, but the best portion is the audio. It has slower and faster versions of every section so beginners can make their way through at a slow pace and someone brushing up on their skills can challenge themselves more. Now that I have brushed up on my skills I can converse with family friends in France much more easily and not miss any parts of the conversation.

I recommend this book...

I do recommend for the action plans because it took me about to go through the recipes and order my groceries online. And yes, it is time consuming. Granted it only took me about 20 minutes to make breakfast and lunch, but it’s the prep work that takes a lot of time. Oh, I wish the dinners had recommendations for sides. But besides that I recommend this book because we have been trying for a long time to start eating healthy, and the action plan in this book made it very easy.

There was no section written in English as you go.

The narrator said there should be accompanying English to go with the French, so it was useless listening to it. Very poor. So I wasted my money and time listening to the Introduction.
