Not your band of soft and cuddly heroes

Rated R - Graphic Violence, Foul Language, Some Sexual Content and a whole lot of A**holes


A highly enjoyable space opera. The amount of characters is very manageable to keep track of and it has an interesting take on making the invading alien force somewhat technologically stunted. Where as many books have the heroes be moral archetypes, many of our protagonists can be a**holes at times and make questionabke calls but in most cases this makes it more realistic.

Great listen

I didn't want it to end. Some reviews talked about the negative attitude of some of the characters but I thought it didn't take away from the story. Everything can't be wonderful when you're fighting a battle for humanity.

An excellent series!

This was an excellent series. The narration was spot-on. I love the way Greg Tremblay gave individual voices to all the characters even the minor ones. I will definitely keep an eye out for more books narrated by him.

Awesome books and a great storyline

Bobby Adair has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I have finished three of his box sets. the narrator is excellent as well. I think one thing I like most about his books as it sounds like real life experiences. He mixes in background storylines throughout

Gets better and better

I liked book one so kept listening. By the end of book 2, I was hooked!

Amazing

This was great. You can’t anticipate anything. You think you know what will happen and boom. New twist. It may even have room for one more book. Now I have to find another series. Can’t recommend this enough.
