Magically, however, she’s dealing with a monster.

Urban legends aren’t the only thing putting Austin in an uproar. The visiting loas—both of whom are there for Poet—are also drawing attention…and from all the wrong people.

Some magics are too strong to fight. Poet is not the sort of hero who can turn her back on people in need, however. Even if it means putting herself at risk to save them.

Poet has new magic at her disposal. Now she has to learn how to use it…or they will all perish.

It’s a fight to the finish, and who will come out on the other side is anybody’s guess.

A little scary and don’t forget about cotton and Michelob

It’s a really good book and it was a little scary and I can’t wait to see more but I’m gonna remind you about cotton and Michelob just in case you forgot

I love this series. Amanda M Lee is an imaginative and creative writer. I can't wait to see what happens next in this series.

i liked that there was more interaction with the loas and i’m looking forward to to seeing what else they might throw in the mix =)
i’m Really hoping that the story will continue when they finally make their home on Moonstone Bay. it would be Really cool if the Mystic Caravan characters were still voiced by Ms Kelly, And if Ms Clark still voiced the Bay characters. to have them both doing their original characters would make things that much better! i know some people have issues with Angel, but i love her! i just think a future collaboration would be the most effective way to bring everyone to life, when ‘Mystic’ life is finally on Moonstone Bay 🥰

Great story

Love this series and how it interacts with her other storylines. Can’t wait for the next book.

Exciting Premise

Urban Legends. Yes! A complex storyline but Ms Lee is a masterful storyteller. The major characters all showed more awareness of not only each other’s irritating personality traits, but their own as well. Good growth. But they love one another anyway. Family. Exciting things ahead for Poet and Raven.

Texas help

The circus finds out that they need to keep the town from night mare.

great story if you have not read the other books in this set, it would make a great time to start.

This one was great. The next one just will be better. Can't wait for the wedding and all the surprises that go along with it.

Great series; when does “Freaky Emasculation” come out?

*SPOILER ALERT* I really enjoyed this series. That is, until the last 4 or 5 books. Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for the strong woman screaming “I can take care of myself!” but not at the cost of the physically stronger sex. Let the man be a man, for crying out loud. If he wants to help in dangerous endeavors, more power to him. If you can take care of yourself, then what’s the point of having a relationship; sex and eye candy. How did women get reduce to what men have done to us for thousands of years. We should be better than that. When Kade said something about Poet taking his last name and she turned and wanted him to take her last name, it took the wind right out of my sails. I wanted to throw up my arms in a waste of good Amazon credits. Kade started out self assured and masculine but then he gets his powers and suddenly turns into a whinny, insecure, whimp. What a waste of a potentially great and funny series of books. A woman can be strong and still be partnered with a strong man.
The saddest part is that there’s no room for Kade to redeem himself since book seventeen is the final book in the series. It’s a real shame.
As usual, Caitlin Kelly did a bang up job in narration.
