Publisher's summary

The Dreamslippers are a family of PIs who solve crimes using their ability to 'slip' into your dreams. But that isn't easy. In Framed and Burning, they have to defend one of their own. Someone sets fire to Mick Travers' art studio, killing his assistant, and Mick won't give an alibi. His sister is convinced he's innocent, but her granddaughter and the police aren't so sure. Was it really Mick, or is something even darker behind the fire?

Framed and Burning: Dreamslippers, Book 2

"This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of Audiobook Blast."

This thriller, mystery , paranormal, a bit of romance takes you into the art world. Cat and Grace investigate with their " Dream Slipping," when artists studio burns and an artist dies. There are many suspects and lots of twists to get to the conclusion. A very interesting listen.

The narration was well done. The characters were excellently portrayed.

Dreaming Family

This was a well put together story. There was a murder. There was a heroine who wouldn't stop until the murder was solved. There was a wrongfully accused man. There were those with special talents. There was family history to learn about and explore. It just didn't grab me for some reason. I had a hard time feeling for the characters for some reason and this took away from getting invested in the story. In the end, it was just OK for me.

Again, the narration was serviceable with nothing to detract but for the first time in a long time a nice narration did not make up for my lack of involvement in the story.

I wish I could say something different about this listen but I am not able to at this time.

I received this audiobook for free through Audiobook Boom! in exchange for an honest review.

surprisingly good!!

the story is interesting but I feel the story needed more character development. The narrator sounds too monotonous at times and the story seems to drags a bit. Overall it is a good and interesting concept about a family of detectives slipping into dreams to solve crimes.

A GOOD Game of Clue, with GREAT Characters!

What did you like best about this story?

I received this book for an honest review and when I noticed that it was book 2 of the series I was hesitant because I haven't read or listened to book 1. After listening to Framed and Burning I will definitely be purchasing book 1. I liked the mystery, a true detective story that kept me guessing. I also LOVED all the characters! I really liked how the writer introduces each character allowing the reader to get a real since of who this character is by learning what they've been through in life.
