Kevin Richardson never wanted to be his older brother’s keeper. Procuring the equipment that they need for the hike over the mountains, Kevin accepts that not all his comrades can make the trip, reluctantly agreeing to escort several kids and some new friends to safety. But when two members of the party become trapped in a deadly situation, Kevin and his allies must fight unknown enemies and use every ounce of ingenuity to push through the danger.
