Publisher's Summary

He thought it would be a simple rescue mission. He was wrong.

Days after preventing a sarin gas attack on the nation's capital, CIA operative Titus Ray arrives in Santiago de Cuba on a mission to rescue fellow operative Ben Mitchell from the hands of the Los Zetas drug cartel.

It wasn't simple...

After discovering Ben's abduction was more than a simple kidnapping, Titus joins forces with an unconventional operative whose peculiar ideas threaten to destroy the mission. As the search for Ben reaches a critical stage, Titus is suddenly called back to Langley.

It wasn't a rescue...

When he arrives back in the States, not only does he learn his mission has changed, he also learns he has a rival for Nikki Saxon's affections. Now he must make a decision about their relationship. Do they have a future together, or would she be better off without him?

It wasn't a mission...

With Ben's life in imminent danger, Titus decides to risk everything - his career at the agency, his future with Nikki Saxon, even his own life - in order to bring Ben Mitchell home.

It wasn't a rescue mission. It was much more.

More about his survival. More about his faith. More about himself.

Generic Spy thriller

Would you try another book from Luana Ehrlich and/or Tom Lennon?

The best thing about this story is Tom Lennon ...... he is a Pro he does a good job with a weak story his accents could use some improvement.

If you could use a Computer AI Program to write a Spy Novel this is what you are likely to get.

The story is OK nothing to get excited about....... certainly not in the Major League it is a good read at an Airport or a long flight.

You will be mildly interested.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Maybe better than the first three!

I have listened to all four Titus Ray books. In each one Titus seems to become a little more human and a real person. Maybe the change in narrator helps make that seem true as well. He is very natural sounding and you feel like you really are listening to Titus tell the story.

I am not sure how much of the story, especially the early chapters, would make sense to someone that hasn't read or listened to the earlier ones. Since I liked them all I would recommend you do just that, start with number 1.

Looking forward to number 5.

Holy cow Are we on a roll

WOW... This is like real life events for this storyline or such detailed imagination. The author must write down everything she lives out in her dreams while being covert. Absolutely captivating and the love story is developing nicely... Did I mention there was guns, love the variety the characters goes thru. See you at the shooting range.

Wonderful story

I really enjoyed this book so much. It just whets your appetite for more stories about Titus Ray and wanting to be there on his next assignment. The narrator was okay. This was a Christian and clean story.

Hold on tight & try to keep up with this thriller.

This story is as excellent as you would expect! So much danger at every twist & turn. This proves that a fast paced action thriller can be clean & suspenseful without being gory. Be prepared as this will keep your mind busy as you try to keep up with everything that is going on. It has been several months since I have read the previous titles in this series. There are a lot of references to events in earlier titles that gives the series continuity but doesn't leave you in the dark when trying to read it as a stand alone novel. I was given a review copy of this title & am willingly posting my opinion.

Wait for it.

The story started out rather hard to follow, but I discovered it's not the first book in the series, so perhaps that's why. I initially didn't like the narration of Julianna - she sounded less like an agent and more like my elderly aunt. I am glad I stuck it out, though. About 8 chapters in I began caring about the characters and what happened to them. The later chapters get more exciting, especially when Titus becomes abducted. The ending has a tidy wrap up.
