Monica's father is finally recovering and she is ready to return to England with Hugo. But Martha is still furious at her and is avoiding her like the plague. Eventually, Monica comes to accept that Martha and Hugo will never like each other and reconciles with her best friend.

His side of the story.

This series is a bunch of short stories following the life of Hugo and Monica. These "books" should be one big book. every book ends in a cliffhanger. Where most series have different H and h this series follows the same couple and their life sense Monica found out her father had cancer. It's written in first person from Monica's POV. wish the book would have included Hugo's POV would have been nice to see his side of the story.
