This story I think is adorable

I’ve been extremely critical on the other books in the series over cherry picking information related to the characters roles in the Air Force but this story is super sweet. I have purchased and read all the books then came back and listened to the entire series, Including second generation, and I really wish it hadn’t been destroyed by virtual voice. But I do recommend listening to it at 1.6 speed.

Cajun Love!

This was such a sweet love story. It was sad to hear about John’s background. Thank the Lord, he was able to overcome all the mistreatment and lack of family that he grew up with. He became a fine, upstanding, loving man. Emily hit the jackpot with him! Emily being a little shy and reticent was perfect for John. She was the other half of his heart. They were each able to give what the other had been lacking. With their lives, you could see that there was going to be a lot of fun and love with Lizette as the cherry on top! This was such a fun and unique story! I still love the way Jenny Sterling uses the word “always”, it touches my heart! The French was wonderful in this story but, the virtual narrator made it sound awful. Many times, I can’t determine who’s talking.

Alovely syory!

AI voice aside, this was a really nice audiobook. Is it as good as a human narrator? No, but it was still enjoyable.

The story of a man without a loving past and a woman who does not believe she is pretty enough to find love embark on a wonderful friendship. But when a large chocolate martini and an equally huge chocolate margarita are brought to the table, all bets were off!
