Crossing The Fence!

I loved the timidity of the characters in this story. Both Austin and Giselle were so sweet in their treatment of each other and their quiet way of asking each other questions. When they visited with the Fly Boys, I think I would’ve strangled a few of them, especially Firefly, for the invasive questions and the prodding with which they treated both Austin and Giselle. It appeared that Austin sure had a rough start in life, thank the Lord he was admitted to the Air Force Academy. I was quite excited for Austin, that he was so well accepted by Giselle’‘s family. They had all the makings for a beautiful life together and their story was precious! I have to say, Ginny Sterling comes up with so many unique relationships, with a variety of backgrounds and personalities, that each book could almost stand alone. But, I love the sequence throughout the series! Listening to the series lets you know each of the pilot’s personalities and those of their wives. It is so interesting to see them interfacing with each other and the new people that joined them. I also love how John Griffin‘s name pops in every once in a while, he was a character I truly loved!
