Publisher's Summary

In the finale to the award-winning Talon Pack series from New York Times best-selling author Carrie Ann Ryan, the final Brentwood must find his mate as the war with the Aspens comes to a close.

Cheyenne Liles has watched all of her friends mate into the Talon Pack and have their lives changed forever, one by one. She’s stood back, helpless to assist in the war with a rival Pack. But just when she thinks her time with the Talons is over and believes she should move on with her human life, the Aspen Pack Alpha takes matters into his own hands, altering her fate far more than a single mate mark ever could.

Max Brentwood used to be the smiling one, the only Brentwood who was somehow able to save his soul during the last Alpha’s reign. But his life was irrevocably changed one fateful day on the battlefield, and he was never the same again. Suddenly, Max is forced to face his future and make a choice when Cheyenne comes into danger: let fate decide, or watch his world crumble around him.

The shifters of this world have fought demons, humans, and themselves. Now, it’s time to find out who they truly are as the war between the Packs ends, and the moon goddess finally takes a stand.

Did not see this coming

I never saw this one coming. While I have been immersed in the Talon pack and had hopes that Chey would not be left behind in the human world, I really was not prepared for her story. From the violent begin to the unexpected end, it was well worth every lost moment that I should have been doing other things. It’s a good thing I have a long commute. I will miss the Talons but look forward to the promise of more. Aiden Snow did a fabulous job guiding Max, Chey and the rest of the pack in telling the story.

Fantastic book

This was the most powerful book in this series. The horrors that Cheyenne and Max had gone through keep you on the edge of your seat. Through it all you just hope they survive it all And hope all of the Tallon Pack come out alive. Loved I can't say enough about the writing skills of Carrie Ann Ryan. You will just have to read this for yourself to see.

Forever Broken

The audio narration by Aiden Snow as always was amazing. His voice is dee and a bit mysterious to fit right in with the story.

This is the final book in the Talon Pack series. It is a fast paced, full of action , but also beautiful story. Cheyenne is the only non shifter among her friends. She is taken by Blade to use as a sacrifice and calls to Max to save her. We’ve seen Max in the other books and have grown to know him. I love that their bond isn’t an insta love/ insta lust deal. You can tell that they’ve each had feeling for the other but the circumstances that they are forced to deal with magnifies and escalates the chemistry so much so that there is no way the could be anything but perfect for each other. An amazing conclusion to a much loved series!

Very enjoyable shifter romance. Great narrator!

Very enjoyable addition to this series! It was an exciting read with a lot of focus on the battle against that horrible alpha Blade. The world-building in this series is simply awesome, and it’s such fun to reconnect with the characters from previous books. I hope Carrie Ann Ryan isn’t finished yet with shifter stories, because hers are amazing!

I liked Max and Cheyenne both individually and as a couple, and I’d have liked for them to have had more time to fall in love. They have to contend with a lot of course, and they have only so much time to spare for actually getting to know each other better, in between attempting to save their pack and world as they know it. There was one very important (positive) development that I hadn’t seen coming, at all. Always love when that happens! One thing that bugged me a bit was some of the violence and the lack of anything resembling a justice system. It’s quite a “take no prisoners” universe and I’d have preferred a bit more gray and chance for redemption.

I really liked the narrator, Aiden Snow, who has a very pleasant, warm voice that I could, and did, listen to for hours on end. I very much enjoyed his performance and all the voices he did for the characters. I loved the emotion and intensity he brought to the story.

A Phenomenal Ending!

Having missed a lot of the previous books I was roped in from the very first chapter. I was lucky enough to listen to this book in audible and think I'll go back to listen to the previous books this way as well.

Such a great beginning starting with suspense that carries you all the way through the book. The narrator had a great way of instilling the importance of what was happening chapter by chapter. Cheyenne and Max have known each other for years but didn't know what or how their future was to be intertwined. Their current and future relationship affects their pack as well as the pack around them. There ending of this series threw me for a loop in the best possible way considering the way the book started. Sad that the series is over but all good things must end.

Forever Talon!!

This book was awesome to read, but listening to it made it even better. I was interested for Cheyenne's character to get her Brentwood and when I realized it was Max I was excited, she is the perfect mate for him. Cheyenne is kind, loyal, and strong, everything that Max needs in a mate, her ability to know when to push and when to let it go made her an even better match for Max.

Max has always been one of my favorite Brentwoods and I have been impatiently waiting for his story. This was beyond what I hoped for. All the characters, give you this sense that they are real and truly exist and the way Max deals with his demons and is coping with loosing a piece of himself is something that everyone should read.

This was book was amazing. The perfect conclusion for the Talon pack. <3 <3

Loved it.

Great finish for a wonderful series. I have loved the Talons from the start and it is hard to say goodbye to them. This final installment follows Max and Cheyenne as their worlds are thrown a bit through a loop with new mating bonds and a connection to an ancient artifact. Great story and hopefully in the future we will be back to see the Talons and other shifters. Don’t miss this series. Books are standalones but have an overall storyline. Great narrator as well.

Loving sexy voice narrator Aiden Snow

Final book in the Talon Pack series by Carrie Ann Ryan.
Max is a solider in the Talon Pack but not part of the hierarchy. Through the years of fighting Max loss his arm and a little bit of his soul.
After years of fighting and trying to make something of his dysfunctional pack.
Things start to look up when things start to get back to normal and family’s start to have babies which haven’t happened for centuries.
Cheyenne has been friends with Talon Pack for a long time and has been eyeing Max but they have been passing each other in the night as such but Max wolf didn’t recognise Cheyenne as his mate.
After Cheyenne was attack by Blade Max’s wolf woke up and noticed her as his mate.
I did feel this was a bit slow for me and I had to push myself through first part of the book but once Cheyenne was attacked and max realised they were mates.
The main battle was really good but felt Blade got killed too easily but I did like the whole Supreme Alpha thing.
I definitely enjoyed this book more as a audible audiobook especially with the very sexy narrator Aiden Snow. I usually don’t like male voice but Carrie Ann Ryan choices for narrator are fantastic.
Shame we won’t find out more about next generation of the Talon
