The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Interesting epilogue to Amazon trip
After a trip to Santarem and seeing the rubber trees this story filled in the history of an important era. The slavery that occurred was not really described as Ford really ran a company town and kept workers in constant debt. Interesting insight on Ford.
