When Dirk Winston takes a job as Criminal Science professor at the local college, he wasn't expecting to be utterly attracted to one of his students. But there is Rainey in his class... and things get more complicated when she definitely lets him know that she's equally attracted to her professor.

Nothing is what it seems and soon we'll be in the middle of a sort of taboo forbidden romance and all the dangers the Winstons are so used to dealing with come back to haunt them again.

If you came to this book looking for the traditional age gap/student-teacher taboo romance... well, this ain't it! Yup, Dirk is her teacher and he's definitely torn by his feelings but Rainey is so not a naïve young thing (and, technically, she's not even his student for real). Did you come for a steamy romance between a hot computer nerd and a badass heroine who wants to take him down? Then, by all means, take a seat and enjoy then ride! 

NOTE: Though listed as a standalone I strongly suggest you read at least books 1 and 2 because all the loose ends of the series are tied in this one. 

Narration: Friendly note of advice - don't listen to the audiobook in a cafe in public. Your reactions will be hard to explain! LOL Marcio Catalano is perfect as the suave but domineering Dirk (what a delicious voice!) and Samantha Brentmoor will also have you reaching for a cold drink! SOOOO much fun! 

This narration is pure perfection

I'm a huge Samantha Brentmoor fan and she proves herself amazing once more in this performance as Reanna. She brought this tough heroine to life and gave believable voices to the male characters. As much as I enjoyed her, I have to admit that Mr. Catalano absolutely stole this audio performance. His voice alone brought steamy visions to the forefront of my mind. Give him the character of Professor Dirk Winston and I was a drooling mess. No one could have done a better job. His voice is pure butter and he was incredible throughout the entirety of his narration. Such an awesome story delivered by an incredibly talented duo. 

Great continuation

Dirk and Rainey have an intense beginning with the student professor trope creates for a great adventure. I love how this had appearances from prior characters and had a seamless continuation of the story wrapping up any
Loose ends.

The narration was easy to listen to and gave great emotion to the characters

I enjoyed that the misunderstanding/hidden agenda issue was resolved in a nice way and not as drawn out as it could have been.

Samantha Brentmoor NAILED her performance as usual lol

The male narrator, Marcio Catalano, isn’t going on my favorites list. He still did a good job. He mispronounced a couple of words that are pretty common and his cadence is a little slower than I typically enjoy

Lies, heat, surprises, and danger

This book ties back to Scar and the dangers of his past that he thought was taken care of that is until his friend Dirk goes back to teaching and starts talking about one of his students. There is so much more to his new flame than any of them knew.

Reanna has one job to do and she will get it done but in doing so she has lost her heart to one Dirk Winston. He is her mark but she cares for him more than she wants. When she is discovered long ago ties come back to haunt them all and they will once again be faced with danger and have to fight to survive.

Marcio Catalano and Samantha Brentmoor narrated this book and did a really good job.

The best yet.

Out of all the books in this series, this is by far my favorite! So worth the read!

Great story

I really enjoyed Forbidden by Tia Louise and the narrators were wonderful in their performances bringing this story and characters to life.

Thrilling, Passionate and Addictive!

This forbidden romance is intriguing, intense, and super hot and sexy, and I was hooked the entire time! Dirk wants to do something different after working behind a computer with his brother's PI company for years . After so much stress, he is excited to make a quiet life for himself as a professor at a local college. His first day of classes, he notices a beautiful student who makes him feel things he hasn't felt in a long time. He fights those forbidden feelings every time she tries to entice him. Reanna/Rainey saw her father assassinated as a young girl, and then taken away to live with her uncle. She grew up in a Russian mafia house where she always tried to blend into the background. Now her uncle is dead and her hateful cousin sends her to get close to Dirk, to find a ledger that his brother has. Reanna is excited that the ledger could also help her find her father's murderer, so she can get her revenge. Reanna never expected to have such a strong attraction to Dirk. When they finally give in to their sizzling chemistry, wow is it explosive! But the more time they spend together, their connection grows stronger, breaking down their walls and falling in love. Reanna starts to believe that maybe she can have a future with Dirk. But she has so many secrets, and when she can't put off her mission any longer, she puts all their lives at risk. If they all survive, will Dirk be able to forgive her or will he feel so used and betrayed that he walks away, breaking both their hearts? This is a heart pounding ride of suspense, desire, determination & love! I was on the edge of my seat, completely consumed by this story. I loved Reanna's strength and resilience, and Dirk's contrasting sweetness with alpha-protector, and dominance. I loved how playful they were together, and their chemistry was off the charts! Their relationship was complex and sizzling and I loved the way it played out.
I really enjoyed Marcio Catalano, and Samantha Brentmoor's fabulous narration. They nailed all the characters so completely, making me see, and understand them so clearly, and helping me to empathize with them as well. They made this story even more exciting! I was completely consumed by this thrilling, passionate and addictive story!

Get ready for suspense, romance and a whole lotta spice! 🌶️

I couldn’t wait to get back in the world of Hamiltown!! We finally get Dirk’s story, which is Hutch’s younger brother.
This is an age gap/ student/ professor Romance! It’s also mixed with a little Mafia!!
Dirk is now a hot professor and Rainey is his new student. Little does he know she is there undercover so she can steal a secret book for her mafia boss.
She has other intentions that I’ll let you find out for yourself, but one thing she didn’t intend to do is get feelings.
The chemistry between Dirk and Rainey is on fire and once we finally hit the crescendo, things rapidly get crazy!! The suspense had me on my toes!! So get ready for suspense, romance and a whole lotta spice! 🌶️

Whew!! Professor Dirk lit my kindle on fire!! All the many sides of him (but especially his naughty 😉) kept me completely engrossed and not being able to put it down! Dirk and Reanna were quite a fascinating twosome, with her history and what she was up to. I kept reading waiting for that shoe to drop. And boy did it lol. And seeing a glimpse of everyone else, getting to see their lives move on, and how it all came together. Be prepared for those A-Ha moments, they’re pretty wow! And listening to Marcio Catalano and Samantha Brentmoor brought it more to life. I loved this series, it’s definitely on my re-read list
