Great Read

I really enjoyed reading this book it was great. I have found a new author cannot wait to read another of her books.

Sultry, Heartwarming, and Raw

I have not read all the books in the Town of Pearl series, but the ones I've read have not disappointed. I expect erotica packaged as a romance, and that is what I get with the series. With regard to this book, the serious subject matter of abuse and the ugliness that type of behavior invites, is balanced by the humanity and caring shown by supporting characters in the story. Is this a modern day fairy tale menage? Yes. But it doesn't shy away from serious subject matter nor make the central female character a pitiful victim. An enjoyable, very sexy good read, and solid narrator performance. Some male characters could have been fleshed out a little more for depth, but it would have been a longer novel. As is, the timing of the story was on point. Please note that if you do not like explicit sexual scenes and violent descriptions of crime, this book is not for you.

Love this story

This a heat felt story of a young girl's family betrayal and her strength to survive. It also as your hot alpha males in protective mood and lots of hot sex scenes. Narrator was good

Better than the print version.

I love this author, she is an automatic buy for me, pre-release. I do get frustrated, at times with how often she will mix up a characters name. Max and Eric are with Stacy; Charlie, Ben, and Wyatt are with Anna no matter how many 'Town of Pearl' books are written. I didn't notice those same mistakes in the audio version. Since I've read this book probably more than 10 times, I think the mistakes were corrected. I'll know for sure in book 4.

I thought the narrator did a very good job. I've heard better but I've heard way worse. For the content and type of book she did a great job! I'd buy another book she narrated.

pretty good, wish it was longer. got to pay attention to names a lot. overall ok

I loved the book but.....

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but I am hoping this will help others make a good choice on if they should or shouldn’t get this book. I really enjoyed this story but it was so hard listening to it. It sounded like my grandma was reading me a Romance novel, there was no real emotion in it. It was so dry and annoying. If not for the story plot I would have asked for my credit back. Seeing as the whole series is read by the same person I will save my ears and read the books to myself. I’m sorry if that sounded harsh but in my opinion save your credit and buy the book.

Awesome Story

Every since I first read this story I have loved the characters and this author. She brings you into the story quickly and easily. I found myself worrying about Anna and Stacy. Good story and great ending for the main characters.
