Well done..

Surprisingly good. Much better than FSOG. She has a paranormal series that I previously enjoyed. Her venture into erotic romance was well done.

Under her spell

Once again, Laura Adrian's has enthralled me. The magnetic draw between the characters pull at my mind and heart. Which in turn has me reading or in this case listening longer in order to find out what happens next, where she is leading us to in this spell binding adventure
I can't get enough so on to the next book for closure on what is to date and story of layers of heat intertwined with lies, deception and so much more.

Warning, one (1) book sold as a trilogy!

This is 1/3 of a book, the middle third no less. The trend towards such deceptive marketing makes me furious, authors should know better than to treat their readers with such contempt! Come on... just give it to us at once or clearly market it as a multi credit book! Grrr.....

That said...

I almost enjoyed ‘book’ two as much as the first so called book. I did however find myself blanking out during some of the sex scenes. Not that they aren’t hot as hell (they are!) but there is just SO much of it!

Narration is fabulous and I hate to say it but I will be going on to part three regardless of it feeding into the gullibility of readers who get sucked into the whole “book in three pieces” game.

Overview

Would you consider the audio edition of For 100 Nights to be better than the print version?

The Story is somewhat captivating, Adrian I want more mystery in the book, Avery's story is sad but also fitting with the character, once I started the book I couldn't put it down, the ending suspense was so powerful that I have been browsing for a couple minutes looking for the next part of the story.

I hate waiting for the next book December is too far away to wait to finish the story.

Would you be willing to try another book from Lara Adrian? Why or why not?

I cant wait for 100 reason just because I want to know what happens to Avery after such kind of betrayal.

What about Summer Morton’s performance did you like?

Yes the voice and performance was spot on.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The part where Avery finally gets through to Nick and he admits that he has fallen in love with her.

Any additional comments?

It’s getting a little long...

It’s good but dragging out at this point. I’ll skip book three. I just can’t.

It’s not bad; it’s just LONG.

Deliciously good!

2nd read:
I’m listening to the audiobook for my re-read and I. highly recommend it. The narrator is fantastic! I’m enjoying this series just as much the second time as I did the first.

1st read:
So deliciously good! I loved the first book and I love this second one more! We end on a cliffhanger that is going to have me completely impatient for the the next book in the series.

"One hundred nights. For each day I deceived him, he demanded a night in return. He wanted all of me. In his bed. On his terms. At his total mercy."

In the first book, you learn that both Avery and Dominick, are hiding from their past.

"the broken parts of me recognize the fractures in him"

Part of Avery's secrets don't stay hidden and the first book ends with Nick demanding a 100 nights from here for lying to him. A hundred nights, completely at his mercy.

"Nick and I came through some of my worst secrets together, but there is more he doesn't know. Things I don't dare tell him. A truth I intend to take to my grave."

The last of Avery's secrets are haunting her ever step in book 2. She's desperate to make it go away all the while she learns more of Nick's secrets that may tear them apart.

Despite seeing how cold and distant Nick can be, he isn't able to stay that way with Avery.

"Tell me you're mine, baby. Whenever and however I want you."

We don't get Nick's POV, but if you look close enough, you see that Avery means more to him than a temporary destraction.

I wasn't expecting the revelation at the end, but while it pushed Avery away, it pulled me in even more. I can't wait to see how Nick goes after Avery in book 3.

100 DELICIOUS NIGHTS TO TURN LUST INTO LOVE

.... and just 1 day to break it.

I’ve had a crazy week completely engrossed in all things Dominic and Avery as they continue on their rollercoaster sensual relationship while still holding back their deep dark secrets. And it’s those secrets that’ll come back to cause trouble, tension and heartache for one of them.. while the other one will stubbornly still be unwilling (or unable) to share his/hers. Trust, loyalty and truth is asked for.. but the only thing you can really trust is that these two damaged multi-layered flawed characters will.. and do, hit the self-destruct button on their all-consuming relationship time and time again.

I listened to Avery’s actions that smacked of double standards - because she wasn’t willing to share HER secrets and yet she went behind Dominic’s back to his ex (who he intensely disliked) to find out HIS secrets that should’ve been Dominic’s to share or not. And, yet again, I was mentally screaming, shouting and slapping her for another dumb ass move. I listened in awe as Dominic went from a strong yet cold and aloof powerful businessman and evolved into a caring, sensual, supportive, compassionate, possessive and much loved alpha hero - but his jaw-dropping secrets at the end made him vulnerable. His romantic gestures, generosity, protective ways and tender touches were simply swoon-worthy as he showed, in his own way, what he felt and just how much he cared. They were demanding more and giving more. They were teaching each other how to trust.. how to love.. and how to care. They were finally letting go of the powerful demons in their pain-filled pasts. And they were learning by their mistakes.. but a chance encounter with a familiar face and a dramatic confrontation revealed that Fate was never in control as Avery had thought... and the fallout was epic.

Worth a credit? Yes o yes.. 100 x yes. This intriguing, intimate and intense rollercoaster love story was skilfully narrated from Avery’s POV and was filled with drama, passion, hot sex, sensuality, secrets, suspense, sweet scenes, angst.. and heartache too, because Dominic’s true obsession with Avery finally gets revealed. Lara Adria is a gifted author whose descriptive writing talents really pull you into each scene.. where the turbulent waters between damaged characters sumerge you deep into their world.. a world that’s full of feels.

Good Series

"I can't deny him. My body and my will are both at his mercy. And so is my heart."

"One hundred nights. For each day I deceived him, he demanded a night in return. He wanted all of me. In his bed. On his terms. At his total mercy."

This series was definitely a hidden gem. The second book is just as good as the first, just as erotic, and sensual. Book one ended in a cliffhanger so Avery and Nick's story continues with 100 nights a sort of do over from the 100 days they spent together. The stipulation for the 100 nights is that their time together is under Nick's terms because of the secrets Avery kept from him, kind of a do over.
Avery gets lavished in all the good things, Nick doesn't deny her anything the only thing he wants in return is that she gives herself completely to him, and that also means complete honesty, even though he isn't exactly being honest about things. They both have secrets and when Avery's past comes back to haunt her it forces her to tell Nick everything, and she assures him that he now knows everything about her. Unfortunately Nick secrets he doesn't speak about, she knows he has secrets, the signs are there but she is so caught up in the romance and the lust they have for each other that she ignores them. But when she finds out about all of the deceit, she questions the relationship and runs. Of course this is the cliffhanger portion of the story.

Quite honestly this could have been one book but Nick and Avery's story has been stretched into three books and I now have to finish.

This sizzling hot book was a fantastic continuation of For 100 Days. I really can’t get enough of Nick and Avery. Their chemistry and mystery with their own secrets suck me in more and more. Hot book and series.
