Just perfect for what I needed

A great meditation for getting started. I really enjoyed it. I'm a beginner to seated meditation and this helps to keep you focused

The way in which Sharon guides the meditation makes it very relaxed, easy to stay in it, enjoyable. I can start a meditation space at any time of the day. Specially at night, trying to fall asleep, I follow the breath trying to keep the thunder of thoughts and ideas out.

Best meditation audio I've found so far

Simple 20 minute meditation. I have several meditation audios, but this is the one I use. I'm amazed how difficult it is to quiet my mind. Once I do, I feel much more focused and alert. Sharon Salzberg has a good voice for this type of audio, and she has the right balance of explaining what to do, and then being quiet to so you can practice.

Perfect for beginners like me

A good recording for beginning meditators. Ms. Salzerg's voice is soothing. It's a guided meditation without annoying music.

best way to wait at VA

I listen and relisten to this practice. VA hospital waiting rooms are not the most relaxing place.
But this is better than anxiety meds.

Keep it simple. stick to the present moment .

Breath by breath is also another good audio book.
