good

Another good audio. I liked listening to their adventures and struggles.

Story:
I wasn’t sure how I’d feel leaving the core group of Baxter’s and branching out to their friends, but this book was every bit as good as the previous ones. Amazing characters and circumstances and forces of will. I can only hope that this series will continue.

Another great story by an amazing author !

This story isn't as much about the Baxter boys, but they are definitely a part of the book. This book is about Dusty, she is a very good friend of the Baxter boys and their wives. Dusty is a motocross rider. The only thing she has ever wanted was to win the championship and to show people that girls could ride bikes also. Roland is a physiotherapist that has had something devastating take place in his life. We really get to know these two in this story and it is a really great book. I totally recommend it!
I received a free download of this audio book from Audiobooks Unleashed. This review is totally my own honest opinion.

Her body won’t let her motocross race anymore- what’s next?

This is about Dusty a champion motocross rider who crashed big time. Roland was her physical therapist. Even though it was against all the rules they were drawn to each other. Roland got into physical therapy after surviving a horrendous light airplane crash that killed his fiancée pilot. They are good friends with the Baxter brothers and wives. There are many obstacles in their path for a HEA. As always Jessie Gussman tells a great story and you see the friends you have made in the rest of the series. She keeps it exciting and moving along while it is a clean tale.

Another engagin story in this series

I had read this book a while back and decided to give the audio a try. As usually happens, the audio version brought the story to life.
This story in the series is a bit different than the previous ones in the series.
This time , the story centers not around the Baxter Boys, but around one of the friends of their wives.
Dusty Gibson is a successful motocross driver who suffered a debilitating accident and one that will require extensive therapy.
Roland Bryant is a sought after and well respected physical therapist to whom she is referred.
When they meet , the attraction is evident, but professionalism keeps them apart…until she needs a fake boyfriend and the lines start to blur.
These two have baggage that has molded them in their lives and seemingly having different goals .
But will Roland risk his job for her? And will Dusty put herself in danger of an injury that could paralyze her?
If you have read the series, you’ll get a chance to visit with the Baxter crew and meet some new characters.
The narrator, Patricia Ricketts did a very good job with the voices.

Realistic and Beautiful!

Though this book is a slight departure from the style of the rest of the series, the voice is still intriguing and encompasses your attention! In this story, you get to observe the Baxter family from the point of view of their close friends, how friends are adopted into their unique family.
Dusty, a female racer and Roland, her physical therapist have both experienced nearly life-ending accidents and the other tragic losses that often accompanies those types of experiences. This story deals so well with trauma and life-changing loss, yet it still has a light, hopeful feel; no unnecessary drama.

A new life

Dusty has to find a new life after a bad motocross accident. She can't race anymore. There is an HEA with her physical therapist, however. This is a nice story. I love listening to Ms. Ricketts. I received a free copy from the author. This is my voluntary opinion.

a sweet enjoyable journey

A wonderful sweet clean enjoyable romance. This well written story is a clean romance about two people who have fears, hurdles, emotional baggage and traumas that they connect and help each other through in an amazing journey. The characters are strong, interesting and well developed with cameos from previous Baxter series characters. The narration was wonderfully done adding emotion with perfect character distinction.

Hang on tight!.....

I can't say that Dusty captured my interest in previous novels but that quickly changed as we get a peek into who Dusty really is underneath her shell (it was enlightening to see how her life had been molded by absent parents & a brother who already held their attention.)
I totally loved the story then...Roland is blindsided by Dusty's new adventure. When his horrific & private nightmare collides with Dusty's new obsession...well an explosion is inevitable and neither are prepared for it. What will their relationship look like when all of the dust settles?
A good narrator really takes this already good story to another level. She breathes life to it and effortlessly brings you along on the adventure.

Recommended

Dusty had always seemed to me to be irresponsible as well as a dare devil, not caring about her own safety or wellbeing. This story changed my opinion. The way she followed doctor orders even when she didn't like it was great. She is still a dare devil but a responsible one. Roland with his straight forward way is perfect for her. He sees beyond the tough girl to the lonely, sometimes insecure woman underneath.

Patricia Ricketts did a terrific job portraying the Various characters and narrating.

I recieved a free Audible copy of this story, at my request, in exchange for a honest review.
