Better Than Pimsleur

Fluency Leap Italian 2 really works for me. These LanguageAudiobooks programs are so much better and cheaper than Pimsleur. With just one Italian program from Frobose I learned more Italian than with 7 Pimsler programs and I remember and can use most of what I learned. Lots of vocabulary is taught, but it’s like throwing eggs at the wall. The more eggs you throw, the more egg sticks on the wall. Pimsleur throws the same egg over and over so you get a little of one egg on the wall. Frobose throws egg omelettes all over the places and lots more of it sticks.

I’m Speaking French

I’m not an expert at languages and I didn’t do well with languages in school, so I can’t give anyone the academics reasons why I’m speaking French except to say that this is the easiest language course I’ve ever used and it’s enjoyable too and it has taught me to speak french for the first time in my life and for that I am grateful.

Unnecessarily repetitive

There is a lot of good content, and I understand the need for repetition, but it was getting to the point where I thought I’d scream if I heard “dov'è il bagno” one more time.
