D. E. Stevenson is always wonderful. Her gentle but engaging stories can be truly enchanting. This one is not her best but it's still worth the time.

Very refreshing book!

I loved this continuing story of Bel and the story of the old house that Ellis and Bel so charmingly renovate.

I loved that I didn’t have to worry about sex, bad language, or politics. It was a good story with good morals.
