Publisher's Summary

Never play a game if you don't really understand the stakes...When Terry and Wayne stumble upon a backwoods bar while camping in the Rockies, they just want a beer and a burger. And maybe a warm bed for the night, if they're lucky. Instead they find themselves in the middle of a strange group of disturbingly scarred locals, served by a one-armed bartender. Even the sexy waitress with the elaborate octopus tattoo has what looks to be...bite marks? They know they should leave. But when libido and booze lure them into the back room for the local highlight of Carioca Fish Bait Fridays, they find themselves unwitting players in a very dangerous game.

John Everson, Bram Stoker Award-winning author of seven novels, brings you Fish Bait, a savage bite of backcountry horror.

A fast moving short story

I found this book when searching for other books narrated by Luke Daniels. This book is available on Kindle Unlimited with free audible narration (in case you don't want to spend money on it and happen to have KU). This was my first time listening to anything by this author and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was overall.

I liked this short story I am going to check out one of his longer books that's also available on KU.
