Full of Fun

This uses a interesting trope. The rescue is in danger of failing but if they marry all will work out. Michi is ready to be rescued and eager to marry. Damon on the other hand knows he does not want to be married. It was fun to watch the two interact. The dialog keeps the fun going. I listened to this as an audio book and through the narrator missed playing up the humor. I did enjoy seeing Michi and Damon

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

Great start to New Series

5he story is breat with enough suspense to keep you salivating for more. The futuristic world is really amazing as well as the cultures. Just loved it.

When a husband is just .... average.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

I liked this story. I enjoyed Michonne. She could not fathom how all her sisters found amazing males but she is reduced to having someone who just seems so.. average. Damon was not trying to marry anyone and Michonne is someone that he refuses to accept. I loved their banter and I enjoyed all of the shenanigans that they got into. I cannot wait to see what happens with the Cyborg in The Cyborg's Stowaway: In the Stars Romance.

Wonderful Book!

I really loved this audio book. Logan is an excellent narrator and did absolute justice with Eve's book. The story was so much fun and moved a long at a lovely pace. Damon and Mishi were a fun couple and I enjoyed the interactions. I can't wait to start the next boom!

Cute and entertaining

The book was cute and entertaining. Damon is sent by the captain to rescue Michonne while he distracted the people who kidnapped her. They had issues as they tried to escape. Michonne then decided to "help" by making him her husband. This marriage is irreversible unless by his death. Follow along with the antics theses participate in as he tries to figure out how to annul the marriage while she tries to get him to stay. She also is a princess so she doesn't obey very well.
The narrator did a really good job of differentiating the voices so I had no problem following along.

Despite a few issues had with the performance, I loved this audiobook. Not only was the story interesting and engaging, it had a few mentions to other titles that had me smiling.

There only real problem I had with the performance was the amount and timing of the narrator's pauses. There were quite a few of them and I was left wondering more than once if my device froze, only for the story to pick back up. But in the other hand, it was humorous when those pauses would coincide with my navigation system error alerts.

Unexpected Love

This was a great story. I laughed at the funny parts. Damon's wife was funny how she acted around him. Her naivete was enduring at times. I totally understood his frustration at times. Can't wait to read/listen to book two.

Listening about all the action on the Gypsy Moth was better than reading it. Damon was made even realer by Logan McAllister.

Perfect Accident!

The first thought I had when I started this audiobook is that the caveat was actually read about the story and characters being fiction and not real. I had to snort, knowing that anyone thinking that something dreamed up from the mind of Ms. Langlais might resemble someone/something. That a floating octo-creature speaking in blurps might be mistaken for someone you know made me laugh. From there, the story just got interesting with all of the characters and twists. I loved how Michi's family was family no matter how bad or good they were. And the CHOCOLATE!! OMG, it was a great take on the chocolate. Damon was perfect as the First Mate and his attitude towards Michi.

Logan McAllister did a fine job with the narration, the different voices, tones and such. The narration did start off a little on the slow part. I'm a 1.0 speed listener. But as the action got moving, things were good. There were parts where when it was more narrative, that the story did seem to flatten out while listening.

Overall, the humor and wit that I've come to expect from Ms. Langlais' stories was definitely present with a side of space opera romance. I enjoyed listening to the First Mate's Accidental Wife.
