Vampire and Diablo Falls resident tarot reader Malcolm Orloff knows when his cards give him a sign, he has to act. They send him into the woods during a freak weather event when the temperatures skyrocket, threatening to melt the snow and cause massive flooding and landslides. When he finds Ebony, he immediately realizes she is the source of the magical warm-up, but she’s complete unaware of her powers or that she’s causing it.

Ebony is reluctant to believe his claim that she’s a witch, but after finally observing her powers and seeking help from one of the town’s resident witches, she is forced to not only accept her true birthright but also her growing attraction to the vampire who saved her life.

Cute short PNR with "Frozen" flavor

Ebony left her cheating boyfriend. Her heightened emotions means that she's causing major changes in the environment. Max, a vampire and tarot card reader, sees her coming and tries to help her but also ends up falling for her. Can they control her powers so they can get her HEA?

So, this is a very short PNR and really fun. I just kept thinking about Frozen and Elsa's lack of control of her powers. But I liked both characters and thought that the pacing was great given what the book entailed.

Sophie James did a good job playing both characters and the supporting characters. I enjoyed her telling of the tale.

Short Story!

This novella is part of a collection named Bite Club. Ebony and Malcolm's story is fun, fast-paced, and intriguing, but I wish it was longer. Sophie James did a great job with the narration. #AudiobookObsession

Ebony is a witch with powers she is not aware of. Mac is a vampire just trying to live his life. Together this is a fast paced fall head over hills in love.
