Publisher's summary

In the distant future, humanity is still alone among the stars. War ravages the superpowers of the planet in a seemingly never-ending conflict. Technological advancements to aid both sides of the war has pushed humans into the stars, in an effort for resources and colonization. The United Federation of Nations chose four planets for colonization, three were successful. During colonization, they discovered an ancient technology: the hyper-drive. Humanity had instant and unlimited access to its colonies, but the war continued to ravage. With the discovery of a new power generation, technology comes to a new Faster-Than-Light traveling method, and the WarpStar is the first ship equipped with the new star drive. No longer bound by the limitations of the Hyperdrive, the WarpStar embarks on a journey of exploration and discovery. Will they continue to be the only life out there, or will they discover a dark past?

Grea try story! Narration is excellent

This. This is exactly the kind of Science Fiction I love to read. It caught me and held me all thecwsy through, my interest never flagged.

Inspired storytelling from a great new talent. It has all the clasdic elements of really good space opera. Titanic space battles with ships so big your grandpa would blush.

Swashbuckling style, family values, some romance, interesting and well thought aliens.

I also like that this author in his many sub plots does not spend a ton of time on them. A lot of authors are so busy giving you lblow by grinding blow in the everyday life of horrible butchering aliens, it can get downright depressing. This author covers it well, you get the ideas of what is going on, but not overly labored. Perfect!

Great adventuresome fun read full of all kinds of Science, Fiction, Intrigye, Skulduggery, and lots of riotous action.

First 20 chapters held my interest

20-25 chapters were an adventure, interesting science and tech discoveries.
- Then the author changed story direction
To one of unreasoning hatred and and far-right war scenarios with trillions killed and multiple players committing genocide on the entire human race - for no logical reason.
According to character story lines

This mass genocide thing really killed the story for me as to purchasing any further writings by this author, which is a shame
Because the narrator did such a good job
