An easy going light listen

A nice enough romance story but it was just a bit slow paced with a CEO who seemed so weak minded when it came to decision making that it was painful. This story was done in 1986 and re-issued about young love gone bad - then 14 years later they get a second chance to get it right.

If you're into sweet light romance listens that won't challenge your brain cells - then you've found your book.

Story based mostly on sexual desire.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Enjoyed the book, but the story line was lacking in depth. No real substance to the lead female's role in her job position as CEO. Not enough interaction with other characters -- shallow with just the love life of two persons.

Would you ever listen to anything by Barbara Delinsky again?

Yes, I have read many of her books

What about Coleen Marlo’s performance did you like?

Very good.

Was First, Best and Only worth the listening time?

Somewhat, but not as much as one would have expected. No challenge or guessing regarding the plot.
