Although Colt tries to keep his feelings a bay, he quickly falls in love with the beautiful woman, muddling his drive to complete his mission as he realizes he can't hurt her and he can't use her.

Fires of Autumn

Oh very good story!! However ripped my heart out. Even though I had an idea what would happen and that made me anxious, it wasn’t what I expected. Enjoyed the narrators voice.

couldn't find a way to put it down

Best book I've read in a long time. Fell in love with the characters so had to continue listening. I'm looking forward to meeting the next American Hero.

I cried !!!

I could not stop listening. I would always recommend a LeVeque story. They never disappoint. It may not be the outcome you expect. I really liked the story. It was different.

Grab a Kleenex

I have listened to de Wolfe pack series of Kathryns and I thought those had Kleenex worthy moments but oh my this one was a freaking roller coaster of emotions like no other I have listened to yet. This was definitely a more serious book in total from the others I have listened to but so was the first book in this series. Not extremely serious but not nearly as much humor as de Wolfe pack series.The only thing I was really disappointed by this book was that it wasn’t continuing the story from the first book. Other then that a great listen just maybe not when your hormonal. 💜☀️

What Can I Say?

Kathryn LeVeque just is a matter at telling great character driven stories. I have not listened to one book that I did not like by her!

Yes, I would because it was filled with danger, suspense and romance!
I loved the narrator's voice, it was filled with realism and suspense till the very end.
Henry McNulty is a new narrator to me!

touching story

At first I was confused with the prologue of the book. I had no idea what it had to do with the story. Still didn't understand until the end. the book definitely made up for it though and kept my attention the whole time. Great love story that lasted.

A HeartBreaking Love Story

Rarely does a story bring tears to my eyes, but this very well written love story did. The reader did a good job, and the emotion put forth as the story unfolds holds your attention. Have a box of tissues available.

WOW!

I am sure Kathryn reached into my chest and tore my heart out. It is a good thing she put it back in or I would have bitched slapped her. Never will you find another heart touching story.
