Costs only $6.95 once.

Its the most powerful device in the current amazon lineup and to knew everything well about that powerful device only for $6.95 through this audiobook. This guide helps you to get the best experience from fire stick device. After completing this audiobook, I almost feel amazon should have taken a page from roku and called it fire stick extreme 4k. i replaced the fire tv 3 pendant and use it as the main box connected to a 75" sony 940d, it plays 4k uhd/hdr files over ac wifi using kodi without a hiccup and hdr picture quality seems to be more vibrant than with the pendant. Its menus run at 4k 60fps and butter smooth whether on amazon or in kodi. wifi signal has also improved over the pendant in the same place.

Great upgrade Amazon

I am pleased with this audiobook and the the fire stick 4k. I can control volume and power on a receiver and a tv. I can switch input via speaking "switch the input". it has near identical interface and options as before.

This is the one to get

I see where people had all kinds of negative experiences and believe the key may be that your TV is connected to the wrong part of your router. Mine was. I have DirectV and ATT fiber to the house. Check to see if your router has two connection speeds. Mine did. Everything kept stalling on me until a really savvy tech guy at ATT figured out that all of my new tech items (Echos, etc.) were all hooked up to the same slower speed on my router. The instructions for the new Fire Stick say, be sure you have it hooked up to work with a higher speed on your router. The tech at ATT put my Smart TV and the TV with Fire Stick on the guest network setting which is much faster. All problems disappeared. Its working great although I've yet to figure out if I need to change the input everytime I decide to watch streaming TV or go back to regular DirectV. So many more things you will get the easy idea through this awesome audiobook.

This stick is amazing I have almost all the apps in just a few minutes which the previous one took longer download them. The pictures are crystal clear on the screen it looks so live !! My daughter has watched natasha several times using this stick and if you know the movie you know how the colors are super vivid when she’s with the other mother. The screen pops with gorgeous colors while watching on the stick. Moving from app to app is flawless no lags! The remote is everything I wanted from amazon I no longer have to use my phone or tv remote to power on/off or use the volume, I love the remote it has all of that even a mute button. I’ve had all of the fire sticks and this is by far the best one!! It is bigger too ! And um pretty much happy that I am getting a better guideline for that awesome device. Thanks a lot Mr.John Williams.

Get good tips and tricks

Performance is excellent. Playstation Vue opens up much faster. Plex starts quickly. The most noticeable thing was Tablo. Changing channels is significantly faster and fast forwarding is smooth. You can be in Tablo watching local TV and press the microphone on the remote to change to Playstation Vue. "Tune to ESPN", "Tune to Discovery". It will switch out of the other app and open the channel in Playstation Vue. If you are in tablo watching ABC, if you say Tune to NBC it will switch to Playstation Vue NBC. It does not seem to integrate with Tablo. Amazon is coming out with their own version of Tablo soon for local DVR so maybe that is the reason. Now the surprise part...the sleep timer works already. If you say "sleep timer 30 minutes", it will shut the TV off in 1/2 hour. There is no need to use the old Roku TV remote at all. And this audiobook is complete user guide to master the Fire TV Stick with all new Alexa voice remote, streaming media player.

How to fluidly setup your Fire TV Stick.

The 4K version has the new upgraded Alexa remote, which is such a triumph compared to the older Alexa remote, due to the fact that they've finally added power, mute, and volume buttons. Hooray! No more scrambling around for your TV or cable company remote control when you need to change the volume in a hurry. The voice controls are also more sophisticated in this version, so that I can actually tell Alexa to "switch back to HDMI 1" or "switch back to cable TV", rather than toggling the Input button on your TV or cable remote.

I love this thing! I can watch Prime video, Hulu, Netflix, and a really good selection of free apps. Easy to use, Alexa works great when we are looking for a specific movie. It checks all my downloaded apps for whatever you ask. I'm considering cancelling my $200 a month cable, and just keeping WiFi.

Understanding the Install is key

I've been using the FireTV stick for about two years, so I was a little skeptical ordering the 4G stick. That "skeptical" label can be removed right now. App downloads are much shorter, and the picture is much sharper. So far it hadn't needed repowering. All that might change next week, but right now I think Amazon has hit a home run with this product.

Major Improvement Over My Old Fire TV

The new remote control is very handy as well. No more searching for the TV remote to adjust the volume or turn off power. The only thing I expected to have more memory not just 8GB other than that it's a great device I recommend it

Upgrade!

We have owned every version of Fire TV devices in where we have facing always few difficulties through the updates they usualy made. This is easily the best that Amazon has made and also through this guide I have getting the right ideas where now I felt much pleased that I knew now what I need to do with this powerful device! I'm very surprised by the speed of the device. It flies through the Fire OS menu, and the addition of the TV controls make this a game-changing device. It is even faster than our new Fire TV Cube which doesn't make any sense to me. We are thinking about buying more Fire 4K TV sticks and using on other TVs throughout our home instead of using Fire TV Cubes!

Learn how to manage your apps.

Beyond the remote and visual updates for 4K TVs, everything else is the same from a software perspective. This means if you are a Prime or Prime Video subscriber you will find a lot of benefits from the way content is presented. It definitely favors more to the Amazon Prime members. What is less focused to Amazon is when you do voice searches where content will be favored to watch for free from apps installed. As an example, when I did a search for the movie Rocky I saw the first choice to watch is for free on my Sony Crackle app. This is in spite of the fact that you could also purchase or rent the movie from Amazon. What is great about this search is the number of apps that are included in the search. This is better then the Apple TV but less then the Roku searches on their devices. Yes, you will find more apps on Roku searches which could lead to opportunities to watch content for free or at a reduced price on multiple services. The visual appearance and voice search on the Fire TV however are far superior to Roku and this does not even include the extra functions built-in with Alexa. What got me into the Fire TV years ago was the voice search and it is still great today but not as advanced as Apple TV's Siri voice search. Everything I have got the clear idea through this audiobook of Mr. John K. Williams. AFter taking this audiobook I have got the way where I felt much confidence to go through this powerful awesome device.

Let Fire 4! Definitely get this for your house

As I just knew the remote alone is worth the upgrade to this device. Once it is set up, you just hit the power button and the TV comes on with the FireTV screen loaded. It's also nice to have a mute button on the same remote so you can quickly mute those annoying auto previews!

User friendly audiobook. Very easy to set up.

All in all, I plan on purchasing more Alexa-enabled devices, in addition to another fire stick for my bedroom TV. We are really enjoying all the handy things Amazon and their great line of gadgets bring to our home.

Been using Roku for years. That just changed.

As far as the audiobook offerings available on Fire TV, the list is endless. It's what you've come to expect from just about any similar device, I think. All major providers such as Netflix, Hulu, Sling TV, etc., along with all major network apps like CBS, NBC, STARZ, Cinemax, HBO and so on. I couldn't even tell you everything you can get because the list is that expansive. Because it is an Amazon product and we are Prime subscribers, it plays especially nice with all of the Amazon services

Best upgrade so far!

I bought this as an upgrade from the first gen firestick and could not be happier. Our dog chewed up and destroyed the tv remote for this tv awhile back and we were unable to find a replacement (for a reasonable price). So we have been using the cable remote no problem. When we decided to cut the cord and get rid of cable I wasn’t thrilled about having to control the tv by only the buttons on the side of the tv. The firestick remote works PERFECTLY with our tv! No it does not have an input option but with this tv we only watch hulu, netflix, and amazon so it always stays in the same hdmi input. So happy with our purchase and will probably be buying a second one for the living room tv!

Excellent guideliner for a good price of £6.39

The Fire stick 4K is awesome! I was able to reduce my Directv bill from 160 euros to 45 euros by switching to their streaming service using this incredible gadget! It's easy to use and has all my Amazon benefits in one package as well as everything else you'll need. Streaming is where it's at and for that you need a Fire Stick. I purchased the 4K stick and the picture is absolutely incredible. Once again Amazon delivers and also same did this audiobook!

Excellent 4K tV streaming movie source

Amazing! For many months our Verizon Fios service was plagued with problems while trying to watch Netflix and Amazon through our Wi-Fi connection. The connection would always go down at the highpoint of whatever rwe were watching and we couldn't reconnect. I tried adding a second router and tweaking the setup, but Verizon doesn't 3rd party elements added to their system. Finally I decided to try getting a Fire 4K Stick with Alexa, first through Wi-Fi, and then hard-wiring if necessary. An easy 15 minute setup, and we were finally able to pull in a stable Wi-Fi signal with great resolution and audio. Thel Fire Sick was comatible with our entire system, and my wife is learning to love Alexa.

The BEST video streaming device I own currently!

Just to get so much knowledge about firestick 4K and so now knew the FireStick has performed flawlessly with our Vizio TV and soundbar, although an older TV we used for a couple weeks, would not work with the soundbar. However, that is an issue of compatibility between the TV and the soundbar, not the FireStick. With our newer (although it is 6 years old) TV, everything worked great, and setup was easy. Occasionally there were some very minor glitches with streaming interruptions, but that was due to the poor internet service at the apartment, not the FireStick. After moving out of the apartment we switched to a different, and much better (along with less expensive) provider, and the FireStick has worked great.

Already in Love

A happy discovery I made as well was that with Amazon Music (another service I subscribe to), not only do you get those handy lyrics on the phone app, but they are also on the fire TV app! Hellooooo karaoke party in my living room! If you want some better sound, the fire stick will also pair via bluetooth with an external speaker or an echo device. The smaller echo dots offer decent sound, but I do believe my next purchase will be an echo plus for something even better. Alternatively, there are also stereo configurations sold here on Amazon that play well with Alexa and fire TV.

So easy to set up.

I’ve had a Pioneer Kuro Plasma TV for the last ten years picture still looked great so I ordered the fire stick cause it said it would improve the quality of the picture. I’m sixty nine years and maybe I’m seeing things but by golly I think it does look better. I know for a fact that the sound coming from from surround sound system is definitely better. Only problem I have is wit the wheel sometimes it takes me a different screen and I have to exit out and start all over again. But al in all I’m very happy with it. Replaced a Roku with it
