Publisher's summary

Sammi Miller lives a quiet life as a pub owner in the Scottish Highlands - until the mob bursts in with guns blazing, looking for her ex-lover. Taking a bullet in the shoulder, she manages to escape and make her way to her half-sister Jane.

Hidden away in the mountain fortress of the mysterious Dreagan Industries, Sammi finds more than a safe haven. She finds Tristan - the most gorgeous, beguiling, and haunted man she has ever known. Newest of the Dragon Kings, Tristan fell from the sky in a snowstorm naked with a sword - but with no memories of his ancient struggles. When he meets the wounded Sammi, something powerful stirs within his heart. When he sees the dragon symbol etched into the bullet from her shoulder, something fierce burns within his soul. With his darkest enemies closing in, Tristan must take wing, take sides - and take no prisoners - to save the woman he's destined to love.

Same as book 1

For a second in the beginning I thought I was re-reading the first book because the story is so similar. But it was still okay.

Tristan is Hot, Hot, Hot!!

Triston is the newest Dragon King to be made in an extremely long time. He has no past and doesn't even have a name. One of his Dragon King brothers names him.
Sammi is a pub owner on the run from the mob. After being betrayed by a close friend she has no one to turn to but the half sister she barely knows.
I fell in love with Tristan and was a little jealous of Sammi. They are two people that really need the love and care of family. And while Tristan tries to get his memories back Sammi is right there with him to help him deal with it all.

Fire Rising

Antony Ferguson brings these books to life. If you love Scottish Dragons, add some warriors, light fey and some pretty bad dark ones. You will love this series. Sexy, action-packed, mythical, goodness. Your ears and imagination will thank you.

I like this book. It is amazing 👏 😍!

I like this book. At first I didn't like Sami 😕. I was like she is selfish and only think about herself. But after I started to like her a little. Tristan is a really good man I really like him, and we can see that he really loves Sami 💘. I like their couple.

Excellent book. Donna Grant's books are always sensational. Antony Ferguson is a great narrator. Books are a great read, but audio is even better.

love the Dragon kings!

I love how Donna Grant continues the story from one book to the next. The characters continue to have a part in each story so you know what happened to them as time goes on.

When the past and future collide

This book was originally read as a part of the Romance Package. Then later purchased as Kindle eBook, as a part of my collection of books I want to reread at my own leisure.

This is book 2 in the of Dark King series, and ties the Dark Sword/Warrior series to it. It brings back old loved characters and introduces new characters. Fire Rising can be read as a stand-along book, but is meant to add to the Dark World that Donna Grant creates.

Tristian, the newest Dragon King, has no memory before he fell from the sky. The Warriors believe he is one of their own, but he is unsure. When he gets near Sammi, the half sister to Jane (the mate of Banan), memories of his past life flood him. He doesn’t want the memories, but he can not stay away from her.

Sammi, is used like the all the women of the Dragon Kings to further the cause of the villain(s) of this series. The old saying the plot thickens is true with all Donna Grant books. Most can be read as stand-alone books but is better when read in order.

Flip flop

This one was hard to endure at times. 8t went from enthralling to boring. Flip flop back and forth. Really great then boring. It made it hard to review. Sorry folks. I am glad I got through it all. I love Tristans character. His story kept me interested. Look forward learning more of his back story with his twin
