I Loved This!!!

This was everything!!! Every moment was engaging, nail biting moments that kept you captive!!! I adore Ms. Kova. The way in which she details a scene and leads up to the big surprises always leaves me breathless!! The narrator was brilliant!!! She was Vhalla!! And that was such an important part of this listening experience for me!! To hear Vhalla's emotions and thoughts!! The other voices were utterly awesome as well!! Don't hesitate to purchase this!! Do it!!!

Wonderful

I love this book. The emotions it makes you feel are extremely powerful. It's already the third time I read it. I just love the characters, even though there are some I want to kill. *cough cough Tiberius Solaris cough cough* I wish I could write like this someday

Decent fantasy wrapped in a sappy romance

There is good fantasy here, but it is wrapped up in a sappy romance. Not a bad romance, just sappy. I really enjoy listening to this series.

But?!? What?!!

Maddeningly gripping, inconsistent characters, needlessly split into several books. I don’t understand why I can’t stop reading.

the things I didn't like about the performance: 1 it was choppy like the audio kept going in and out. 2 monotoned and sleepy. 3 characters were well done except for the fritz or whatever his is too little girl generic gay stereotype. the story is great a bit infuriating but I'm buying the third book arnt i

Good story, poor audio

The audio was strange and syllables seemed clipped and fast when reading as Vhalla. The other voices sounded fine in the recording. It bothered me so much that I tried the higher quality recording and there was no difference. I had to crank the volume much louder to understand and had to use the Kindle version many times to check what was said. I don't think it was the narrator's problem, I think the audio production was the problem.

Didn't really care to finish

I struggled with this narrator. Usually I have a hard time with the way a narrator does the voices. This time I was fine with the voices but the actual narration was terrible. I couldn't finish the book.

The story was alright, the romance was a little to prominent and got in the way of the world and the story. The whole 'hot and cold' and 'forbidden yet unresistible' was a little overplayed. Which in combination with the narration made it too difficult to keep going.

I hate cliffhangers

kills my favorite character and the prince. I have no reason to continue reading........ ...I will read 1 chapter of the next book. If the prince doesn't magically come back to life, then I quit.
