Wholesome and sweet

This story is completely different than what I am used to but so wholesome, sweet, and heartbreaking. It’s a simple listen and storyline is beautiful. The narrator brings the characters to life and did a fabulous job. First time listening to this narrator and first work of this author I have had the pleasure of experiencing. Definitely recommend this to those who don’t want cliffhangers, angst, or plot twist. This is straight to the point and such a beautiful love amongst father/daughter, brother/sister who are like father/daughter and two lovers.

This book was pure heart felt and boy did it make me cry. This story hits so close to home! Highly recommended this book!

Really enjoyed

A heartfelt story of loss and gain. Nothing that happens in this book is far from reality. This family makes the best of a sad situation. My heart is sad for the tragedy that falls on them because the father was trying to do the right thing. I surprisingly get very involved with this audiobook and couldn't stand to have to pause it. Its easily a book that you can power right through because it always keeps your attention. Good job!

New author for me

OK wow.... I struggled at the beginning of this book getting used to narration... once I adjusted to her sound I easily fell into the fabulous story... it hit on some hard topics but it was a strong story.... I will definitely listen to more from this author.

Sweet heartfelt story!

This was such a touching story that makes you feel a range of emotion. I liked the narration. It was easy to keep track of who was talking in the story and her voice is easy to listen to. I would listen to more from this author.
