What if there were People of Peace all around us? What if there were people everywhere who have hearts prepared to encounter God—through us?

Not only does Jesus make us People of Peace, but He sends us to find People of Peace in this lost world.

In Luke 10, Jesus commissioned His followers to go out and find them.

“Now after this the Lord appointed seventy-two others, and sent them in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come. And He was saying to them, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.’ And whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace be to this house.' And if a man of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him.'"

Jesus sent His followers into the fields, just like He sends us into our communities—our workplaces, our schools, our neighborhoods, our gyms, our coffeehouses, our grocery stores, our doctors’ offices. Jesus sends us out to find People of Peace.
