Finding Nelly

Nelly Bower watched her mother’s mental health decline as she grew up. Forced into foster homes, Nelly learned not to become attached to anyone, or anything, as loss became her life. Insecurity and walled-off emotions make her fear she’s following in her mother’s footsteps.

Simon Snow starts his new life after the war by moving out west with his lifelong friend. Having suffered tragedy up close in his own life and family, he too, guards his heart. But will he ever see that he isn’t always destined for misfortune and heartbreak?

It isn’t long before they each realize they can’t live that way forever. Could a simple ad in the Matrimonial Times spark something that could change their lives forever?
