After a chance encounter at one of Diana’s fencing matches Luther decides to court her. Her strong will and his need to protect her clash, and only time will tell if they are able to find a way past their differences, and in turn, an enduring love.

Fun and Quick
Regency era romances have always pulled me in. I so enjoyed this scandalous tale by Dawn Brower. The characters are developed and the story has a great plot. Without giving away spoilers, I loved how the main characters had their eyes opened to what was important. Price Waldman did a great performance with this book. He gave distinguishable voices to the various characters. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Fun addition to the series
I think by now I should consider myself a lover of Dawn Brower books. I have devoured and listened to her romance series all month and they always make me swoon. This book was no exception. However, unlike the next book in the series, I was left wanting a little more spark between the two love interests. This is not to say I didn't enjoy the romance, but I felt like it showed a little bit and left us wanting for more. Overall I enjoyed the story a lot and the narrator did a great job, but I don't think this is the strongest book in the series. I received a free copy of this book upon request. This didn’t affect my judgment of this book in any way.

Exciting, thrilling and fun read
The author brings jumps right into the romance as a lady tries her best to be a lady and a gentleman tries his best to court her. The two do not see eye to eye the lady wants to live, feel the thrills life brings, she so much wants to learn to fence, he so much wants to keep her safe. It is a fight against will one demanding marriage the other just wants to be left alone. The lady finds the gentleman to bossy and just what does he mean she can’t do this or that. Well she will show him, it isn’t like they have any attachments, and what does he mean he is marrying her, he must have lost his mind. The gentleman finds the lady to be to bold, seeking danger but man can she swing a sword. I thought the narrator did a wonderful job on his character voices, as well as giving true emotion to them. It was very easy to know who was talking and what they were feeling. There are no repeating of words, no volume changes, and no breaks were taken that I could tell. It was a story I enjoyed and had trouble putting down. He made me believe what was happening as he took me on a journey of humor, anger and the thrill of romance. It was a very clear audio that I plan on listening to again. The author really takes you back in time giving a thrilling listen with wonderful character that does battle as they find they can’t live without each other. It is well written and thought out. I truly enjoyed this story, I loved the humor and found myself laughing, chuckling along with a few hold your breath moments.

Has a Classical Feel
I really enjoyed listening to this one. I loved how strong Diana is as a character. Both Luther and Diana seem to be leading parallel lives and both have the opportunity to experience something they both thought they never would, love. Well written, well developed characters that are very relatable. I like that this was from both character's points of view. It's just a cute evening listen. The narrator was a perfect fit, and did a great job in this performance. This was a quick romantic listen that kept me engaged. I will continue to look forward to more by this author! Diana wanted more from life than she is supposed to in this time period and she thinks she is so plain and ordinary she will never find love. That is until her family's neighbor reappears in her life. I am loving this series and the fact that these ladies have their own gambling establishment. That would have been so risky in this time! Nice
If you get a chance to hear it, you'll enjoy it and you'll like the guy whose telling it. It had fun, humor and a lot of feistiness .You'll enjoy all the characters and you hope for the best between Luther Wright, The Earl of Northesk and Diana and hope they eventually get together. Their best friends deserve a story or two themselves. Since some of them are very interesting. So if you ever get a chance, check it out and enjoy. You'll be glad you did.

Historical Romance
Find Me Love by Dawn Brower is a historical romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Price Waldman. This is the second book in the Scandal meets Love Series that can be read as a stand-alone. I absolutely love Dawn’s books! They are a slow burning romance that just leaves you with a smile by the end. I cannot wait to dive into the next book in the series If It’s Love. Price did a great job on the narration. I loved his accent it was perfect for Luther. I look forward to listening to more of his projects in the future. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves historical romance or slow burn romances.

Delightful
This is a beautiful love story where two people who have known each other fall in love. I loved how Luther persisted in his courtship of Diana and the dramatic climax of the story. Price Waldman has a voice I could listen to forever and his narration together with the imaginative writings of Dawn Brower in this book go hand in hand to make this a recommendable success.

Strong, Fiesty Swordwoman meets Reforming Rake
This book is a little outside of a typical Regency romance because Lady Diana is a strong, single woman with a sports woman's spirit. Her consort had to have the mettle to match her in every way. Lady Diana and Earl of Northesk grew up next door to each other. There was always a connection, but there was never an opportunity to take it further. A few years later Diana has committed to being a part of a woman's club that teaches fencing and organises secret matches, while the Earl has finally recognised that he needs to give up his rakish ways. Almost instantly he is forced to address his feelings for his neighbour. Two strong characters coming together can only result in sparks but eventually they have to decide if they can accept each other and their feelings. I enjoyed this audiobook. It was a fun Regency romance! This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

An achingly-sweet romance for an interesting pair
When I say that this story is sweet, I need to be clear; I don't only mean that it is a 'clean', traditional type of romance. This novella is Donny-Osmond-singing-Puppy-Love levels of sweetness, and if you have a single cynical bone in your body then you will struggle not to roll your eyes at it in places. If, however, you want to be immersed in a story where the lovers fall hard and fast and the declarations are as grand as the fanciest ballroom, then it's ideal escapism. Diana's penchant for fencing was great, and I liked the fact that she helped run an all-female gaming hell. It would have been nice to have had this discussed in more detail, especially alongside the risk that society Ladies like Diana, Katherine, and Mary would have been running by participating in such an establishment. Equally, I would have liked to know more about Luther's emotional turmoil, especially the grief surrounding his father's death. The consequences of the loss are explained but the darkness is never explored, and I think there is a richness to his character that is missing due to the story's brevity. I feel the same about Diana, whose dissatisfaction and cool relationship with her family is never really covered in enough detail for me to truly have a rounded sense of her. The friendship Diana has with Lulia is filled with problematic stereotypes and is very unfortunate in its execution. There were quite a few issues with the general writing in this audiobook, which is always very noticeable in a novella because there is so little text for the mistakes to blend into. The writing generally lacks the elegance or refinement that is really needed in a Regency, as the formality of the language and customs really do show up every fault like wrinkles in silk. This, and the Americanisms and anachronisms, are also covered in greater length on the blog. I did very much like the idea of Diana and Luther, as individuals and a couple, and I think that there is the potential to write them a compelling story. Sadly, I don't think that the execution of this novella really does them justice, and would like to see it expanded with more time and TLC. They're an interesting couple and could have a truly memorable romance if they were properly fleshed-out. The narrator, Price Waldman, had a rich, rounded voice which was well suited to the period. There were a few pronunciations which were rather distracting. Lulia, too, has a very strange accent. Despite the language barrier, Waldman's tone is very relaxing and easy to listen to and I enjoyed his narration. Overall, Find Me Love is a sweet story with a happy ending and a sprinkling of Regency references that help conjure up an image of a more elegant time. I wouldn't describe it as a true Regency, and it is not without its flaws, but it's a nice way to spend an evening's listening on a cold night. I would recommend it to those who are looking for a quick love-story with an unconventional heroine and a troubled hero. *I received this audiobook free of charge in exchange for an honest, unbiased review.
