most enjoyed of the three

Although most parts were predicable, I still managed to really enjoy it having those predictable elements within it. I especially enjoyed the last bit. although it didn't really show Legands' POV on anything.

Well written well read<br />

I have enjoyed all 3 books. Have to say though the constant usage of the word sister was very repetitive and unnecessary.

Little let down.

I loved carnvale series for its magi. And mystery. It keeps the pages turning. As much as I loved this book I did feel let down by the last book. This one became more a love story for me and drops alittle. Of the magic the others captures

Extremely Disappointing, adolescent vanity

I really enjoyed the first novel of this trilogy, Caraval and thought it was imaginative and well written. Yes, as a YA novel it was a bit hammy in places, but nevertheless very enjoyable. The second in the series wasn't quite as good but still definitely worth listening to.

Howver, I'm giving up on this book, not even half way through, and I will be returning it for a refund.

Every character is beautiful and seductive, and obsessed with or in love with our two sisters, the main characters, who are also, of course, beautiful. Despite there being an apocalyptic freeing of The Fates, the two main characters and those who buzz around them like flies are more concerned with their own vain intrigues and complicated romantic goings-on (which are strictly top-half only, fully buttoned-up, no rudie goings on here, thank you, missus, as you would expect in a YA).

The characters are so two dimensional that I am unable to differentiate between them unless they're named - and even then I have to stop and think about it. Even the sisters are, to my mind, only distinguishable by which gentlemen are vying for their attention, while the dreadful and terrible Fates awake and threaten the very fabric of ... something, not sure what, but something bad. So far however, the Fates seem to be more interested in flirting or toying with the sisters than doing anything interesting or wicked.

Blegh. Dull drivel.

Chapter 9 playback error

Chapter 9 doesn't work properly, I believe that part of the file may be missing, it skips to chapter 10 after a few seconds.
