A mutating plague is spreading. It's killing two of every three people on Earth. And Mike Crenshaw is totally unprepared. From the world of The Traveler Series comes a new cast of characters, new obstacles, and the same devastating, world-altering virus which plunges society into the depth of a dystopian hell. Unprepared begins in the hours before The Scourge takes hold. As if ripped from today's headlines, governments react too slowly and the disease spreads too fast. Quarantines don't work. This is the new America. The lights are out, the grid is fried, and war between two monstrous armies is breaking out all along the coastal states. Logan, Skylar, and Harper thought they were prepared. They thought time was on their side. They even thought they were tough enough to survive, a notion they’re about to put to the test.... The Dark Days series puts ordinary citizens on the front lines of a domestic conflict that was never supposed to happen, one that will either unify the country or break her for good.

A predictable boring story
What would have made Fight to Live: A Post-Apocalyptic Thriller better?
A new Plot.
What could Dave Bowman have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
There is enough violence in America today, lower the kill rate.
Did Andrew Tell do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
Some yes and some were badly done.
What character would you cut from Fight to Live: A Post-Apocalyptic Thriller?
All of them.
Any additional comments?
There are better Books in this genre,,,,,,,,,, move on little doggy.

Good listen, Good Characters, Good Narrator
I didn't listen to the first book, but I knew what happened without doing so. To be honest, I like those kind of books that you don't have to listen to all in the series.
I found this a good listen, although a bit predictable. You knew what was next or at least an idea of what was coming. This didn't interrupt my listening or make me want to stop it.
The characters were very well developed as well visual through the narrator. I love this narrator as well. He does a great job of separating characters.
I'm looking forward for the third book. This was great listen.

Not as good as the first one
This is the second book in the After the Outbreak series. My review of the first book wasn't great as the book was a bit slow and predictable. Unfortunately this second book is not as good as the first one. The story is very slow and uneventful until near the end of the book when the survivors face down ruthless gang members. Even this single confrontation was quick and not engaging. Presently there are only two books in this series, however, if there was a third I am not sure I would bother reading it.

Great series
Wow! What these characters go through in the short time period this series covers is pretty crazy. They just can’t catch a break. I loved these flawed characters. I loved that nick was a prepper who wasn’t fully prepared. I think their actions were often what anyone would do to stay together as a group and stay alive. There were a few things that seemed a bit like they were being stupid but we can all be stupid at times every single day. Narration was excellent. I was voluntarily provided this review copy at no charge by the author, publisher and or narrator.

Nothing new
What did you like best about Fight to Live: A Post-Apocalyptic Thriller? What did you like least?
There's nothing inherently bad in this book. Just that it doesn't have anything new that many other post-apocalyptic books haven't explored already. There's nothing new here. The characters are more or less your typical fares, they follow predictable paths and face similar struggles. When they have any decision to make, you know which way the story is heading. You can tune out for a minutes and still figure out how the story reached here.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
See above.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
There's no complaint about the narration. Andrew Tell did good enough job of telling the age old tale.
Did Fight to Live: A Post-Apocalyptic Thriller inspire you to do anything?
Move on to the next book in my list.

Fun apocolyptic story.
If you could sum up Fight to Live: A Post-Apocalyptic Thriller in three words, what would they be?
Man vs man.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Mathew was my favorite. Kid was able to survive and had a good attitude trying to get to his family.
What does Andrew Tell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The intensity and also brought the characters alive. He was great and had a good range. For the most part I was able to tell who was who.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
What happens when a virus wipes out 98 percent of the world poulation.
Any additional comments?
I received this book for free in exchange for an voluntary unbiased review.
This is actually the second book of the series. I did not feel lost and it was basically a stand alone story. Great read.

A solid continuation of the series
I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
As with the first book, the overall premise is nothing new, a post apocalyptic survival story. I thought this book was even a little better than the first one, with some new characters being introduced. I will definitely be on the lookout for more in this series.

A great follow-up post apocalyptic audiobook!
I definitely recommend listening to the first of the series so you don't get lost, but you won't be disappointed. The author does a great job of character and storyline development. I think more details of the journeys to Colorado could have been added, but I understand the author's need to condense the story to fit certain requirements. The narrator does a wonderful job providing context and bringing the characters to life. Overall it's an enjoyable series that I recommend to anyone that's into post apocalyptic stories. *This audiobook was provided to me at no cost in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Getting good.
This series is fun, but missing twists and a great ending, I'm hoping book 3 is on it way. The book is written in a movie style, and is very enjoyable. Performance is perfectly done, my only problem is that there are parts that are very predictable but beside that it's easy on the brain so you can't not enjoy it. So I have no problem recommending this series.

Going in the right direction
Would you try another book written by Dave Bowman or narrated by Andrew Tell?
After the first book in this series, I wasn't convinced I would continue with it. However, when it popped up on my list as available I was between books so thought why not and I was pleasantly surprised by it. It's certainly changed my mind about the series and whilst it won't be something I'll be pre-ordering or have an antagonising wait for, I'll certainly see this series through as long as it continues to get better.
Would you recommend Fight to Live: A Post-Apocalyptic Thriller to your friends? Why or why not?
I guess I already have, I talked to someone about it and they decided to read it and they enjoyed the first book and will be reading the second soon.
The story continues along its storyline of the good and innocent doing what they can to survive against those with lesser morals which isn't anything new for the genre but it was much better written than the first so absolutely worth a shot if you're stuck for something new to read.
What does Andrew Tell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Andrew continues to bring unique and recognisable voices to all the characters, there are some characters that I find difficult to listen too and a little frustrating. I'm not sure if Andrew changed something between books 1 and 2 with the way he did those voices but those frustrations seemed to be far less of an issue so I was able to enjoy this more.
Did Fight to Live: A Post-Apocalyptic Thriller inspire you to do anything?
I wouldn't say it inspired me in anyway, no.
