This virtual reading wasn't worth 1 star

The virtual reader left gaps in sentences that made no sense as to why they were there. It was like little kids stumbling over words as they read. I put up with the terrible reading just so I could write this review and save someone else from wasting time of listening.
This said, there are numerous other Holocaust survival reads that are accurate and much better narrated. I have family that were in the concentration camps and killed. The performance of this book does not good service to those who were forced into that hell.

Fix the narrator

Every holocaust story is important, but I can’t believe the narration passed anyone’s approval.

Choppy

The person they chose to read it takes long awkward pauses in the middle of sentences that don’t require it and totally distract from the stories being told by individual survivors about themselves and those they witnessed. I listened to the entire thing despite this because all Holocaust stories deserve to be heard. The only way you know the book is over besides the counter on the app is the few notes of music at the abrupt end. I felt like these issues really distracted me greatly from the stories. Glad this book was both free and short.

Couldn’t listen anymore!

The story may have been good but the performance was so poor, one will never know.

Do not buy!

The book just ended without finishing stories. The AI narration was horrible Many words were mispronounced and the narration would stop in the middle of a sentence. Would not recommend
