Publisher's summary

Since returning from Bosnia, ATF agent Alex "Rocket" Duarte has been slowly reacclimating to life in South Florida. But when a gunrunner's car explodes, Duarte's life kicks into high gear in a high-profile hunt for what appears to be a serial bomber. Teamed up with a lawyer from the Department of Justice who herself is looking into possibly related bombings in Virginia and Seattle, Duarte crisscrosses the country, following the bomber and hoping to anticipate his next move, but as he peels away the layers of deception, the lines between friends and enemies begin to blur - and the results are explosive.

"Do The Right Thing"

If you could sum up Field of Fire in three words, what would they be?

Do Right Thing.

Would you be willing to try another book from James O. Born? Why or why not?

No, as purchased only due to Jonathan Davis as the reader. Reader can make a phone book sound exciting. This book was good, but it needed better editing as it did not need to be almost 12 hrs. Author could have cut out or done a better "Hemingway edit". Great "Key Stone Cops" chase. Other Amazon reviewers said this author is self published.

What does Jonathan Davis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Sandra Browns' Mean Streak is my all time fave of this reader. I have down loaded many stories just to listen to this reader, he is that good. Mr. Davis made "Rocket" so yummy and as heroic as a guy can get.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, when in the "field of fire", action was first class. When our hero goes through his last 3 paper note messages.

Any additional comments?

This was worth the $ as I got it on 50% sale.
