Light-hearted. Still addressed real issues, even if it is just the tip of the iceberg.

Sweet n slow
Sweet read. Could have been 10 chapters shorter. Reader spoke fast and some characters spoke so slowly that a comfortable listening speed wasn’t possible.

Quirky but okay
I haven't decided if I'm going to continue the series. I love books with a sequel but it wouldn't hurt my feelings if I stopped at the first book. It is not on the same level as The Pecan Man but it's an easy read and passed some time for me. We'll see.

The most fun listen ever!!
All the the characters of Meyhew are such fun! The story is upbeat. The narration is wonderful. Just had the best listen in a long time!!!

WOW!!!!!
Another excellent story from Cassie Dandridge Selleck. The ease of the South, the familiarity of the small town…and of course, the gossip. It does give your heart a flutter and a smile. I know you’ll enjoy this and probably wish you could slap a character or two before it’s over. 😂
