What happened to the Children?

An erroneous statement was made asserting that the Jensen's have no children. The writer cannot decide in book 28 of the "Mountain Man series" to disappear five people. Anyone that has followed Smoke's story knows that his wife Sally has birthed a set of fraternal twins and one son and they have adapted two sons Billy...? and Bobby Harris. Overlooking the erroneous statement of none existing children; I enjoyed the story--After all it is W.W. Johnstone.

Just saying, M. Kelso

Smoke

Another great book about Smoke. I have enjoyed all the books on Smoke. This book has pearly and Cal in it also. it is full of adventure and action. Jack Garrett does a great job narrating this book.

Not the same author

There is something significantly wrong with this book. It almost seems as if it was not the same author. I mean he mentions the fact that Sally and smoke had no children but if they did they would want them to be like Pearly and Cal. That is strange because it is well documented that they already have 3 children. Also, spoiler alert, but in the book a friend's wife and children are murdered and it goes on to be written in a manner that makes it seem like Smoke doesn't quite relate to how his friend feels about it even though we all know Smoke's 1st wife and child was murdered in about the same manner. I don't know this just seems really weird to me. I don't know what's wrong with Johnson in this one but there IS something off with him in the book.

Meh. Not bad, not great

It was a medicore story but it was free so definitely worth a listen. It was pretty predictable and kind of silly
