This is a continuation of the adventures of a few in Alaska

This continuation of the adventures of Jayson, Leah, Jacob, Helaina and the citizenry of a community near Nome, Alaska continues.!
Jacob and Jayson face grave decisions. Jayson feels it is his duty to bring in his twin brother to account for all his thieving, murderous sins. Little did he realize the severity he would witness. Will he and Jacob need to, also, venture on an excursion in order to better support their family?
Helaina must determine her next course of action concerning Chayse, Alaska, and God.
Leah, is overwhelmed with what life brings for her to endure and wrestles with her faith.
This saga in the lives of these individuals continues to captivate the reader. This tale inspires, yet, stirs many conflicting feelings and emotions, ending on an anxious, hopeful “note”. It,!assuredly, will leave the reader anxiously awaiting the next exciting novel in this poignant story.
The characters and drama are all well-portrayed. The Title and Cover image are chosen well.
Christina Moore was not as consistent in her narration of this portion of the story. There were a couple of times the listener was, likely, unsure of whom was speaking in a communal setting. Other than those times, she still did a very good narration.

Under The Northern Lights

I have finished with one and two, recommending this for the characters and story. Have like Christina Moore mostly, not my favorite Narrator though. There are many characters for her to change voices for and this is a most difficult challenge for any reading.
Love the setting in the North and hard to remember this is the way it was in this period of time. Will continue on with Book 3 to see what the outcome will be. A must read series.

Experience life in early Alaska

Would you consider the audio edition of Under The Northern Lights to be better than the print version?

Yes. The reader does an excellent job of bringing this story to life.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jake Baringer. His personality has extreme ups and downs. At times he's compassionate and loving and other times judgmental and disparaging.

What about Christina Moore’s performance did you like?

She changes the tone in her voice to reflect the different characters. Each character has their own way of speaking which she does well in her reading.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were several places in the book, most dealing with the growth of the characters and their realization that God has worked in their lives.

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend this book. I listened every chance I got.

Christian Historical Romance

Trigger warning:
Kidnapping and rape are a big part of this story. It has a purpose and ww learn more about trusting God through terrible trials.

I loved this conversion story, and the transformation that Love performs! Also God's power to heal and make right the evil of this world!
The narration was excellent!

second time to listen

I loved this story so much that I chose to listen to it again. Tracie Peterson is such a talented author. after reading or listening to one of her books, I almost feel as if I have just participated in a great Bible study. God speaks to me through the stories. I would encourage anyone to give this series I a try. You will be blessed for it.

Terrible ending

I normally love everything Tracie Peterson writes, but this story was sadly lacking. The ending is awful. Is there a third book?!?! Do we find out what happens?!?!
