Editorial reviews

A striking marriage of romance and the supernatural, Trouble With Air and Magic follows heroine Dorothea Franklin as she grapples with the mysterious circumstances surrounding her brother's death in a helicopter accident. Dorrie can't believe he's gone - she didn't feel him die - and she teams up with computer whiz Conan Oswin, who also lost a sibling in the crash, in an effort to uncover the truth. Dorothea and Conan make an odd pair - his reserved, scientific personality stands in stark contrast to Dorrie's more talkative, spiritual character. Nevertheless, there's romance in the offing, and voice actress Katina Kalin's lays bare the heart-melting passion in her sultry contralto. A veteran audiobook voice, Kalin's leisurely clip and casual intonation bring authenticity to this character-driven romantic intrigue.

Publisher's summary

Romance and danger are in the air...

Dorothea Franklin’s life is sliding toward disaster just as surely as her house is crumbling into the Pacific. Her unusual talent for feng shui can’t bring harmony to her invalid father or prevent her brother from dying in an experimental helicopter crash. Or has he?

She turns to computer genius Conan Oswin, whose brother also reportedly died that day. When Dorothea informs Conan that she didn’t feel the vibrations of her brother’s death, he wants to dismiss her illogic... but his instinct for trouble is already on full alert. His attraction to her is almost as distracting as her nonsense about chi and harmony - nonsense that plants doubts about the deadly crash. If only she would quit twisting his head with temptation, he might be able to save their brothers and her life.

LOVE!!!

l love the series so far. I like how the author intermingled the paranormal aspects into the story without making it just about the paranormal.

Magic, Romance, Adventure, Family & Happy Ending

I love this series of the Magical Malcolms. They are full of personalities, family and adventure. I like that they tie into the previous series.

The men are strong protectors not to mention handsome. They are worldly wise and hardworking with each one different personalities. The women are beautiful, smart and each one gifted in a unique way.

I have enjoyed the narration. Katina Kalin is a delight. Every character was unique. Her voice is very pleasant. She didn't go to extreme to voice the men or the women.

I would definitely recommend this series or any of Patricia Rivers Books.
