Publisher's Summary

Bramble Challoner has had a very normal upbringing. She lives in the suburbs of London with her parents and works at the call centre down the road. She still goes out with the boy she met at school. Bramble is dying for an adventure. So when her grandfather, Lord Penrose, dies, leaving his huge, rambling house in Cornwall to her, Bramble packs her bags immediately, dragging along her best friend Katie. The sleepy village of Tremarnock had better be ready....

Better the Devil you know

First class story and interesting and enjoyable enough to read in the day. Looking forward to the development of this new series. Ms Bybee is a top class entertainer. Top class narration by Emma Wilder

Disappointing third book as I loved first and second series

I loved the first book as the characters were strong and story gripping.
The 2nd there was new characters and a gripping storyline.
This book I couldn't wait for it to end, without giving anything away although it was nice to catch up with Liz - I found the storyline with the mansion and the 2 drippy girls boring, even the graffiti and trouble - why bother writing it when you don't know why the characters have done it, and then some of new characters were so bland.
Shame I was really really looking forward to this one

Tremarnock book 3

I enjoyed the story but found it a little harder to get into than book 1 & 2. The narration and narrator were very good and very easy to listen to. overall enjoyable.

Stick with it

Found this the hardest of the three books to get into but glad I persevered. Hoping for a fourth!
