Wonderful story
Francine Rivers brings bible characters to life in such a way you feel like you are right there with them. Adan Verner is a wonderful story teller in his narration of these books. Great job and thank you both.

Old Testament hero
The story is firmly grounded in Scripture. Some of the creative elements were at odds with what I envisioned, but everything was plausible and probably closer to reality than my own uninformed opinions.

Adds life to the Biblical narrative
I felt the challenge personally, i In fact I have to shamefully admit i felt sympathy for Israel's unbelief, I Am Them, the choice to remain comfortable and safe seemed like it was the better option. Caleb's example showed that even in one's vulnerability one can still conquer, but we must first "inquire" of the Lord. what a great narrative.

Mostly enjoyed
I so enjoy Francine Rivers writing and her ability to use verses in each of her stories without preaching and shows the weakness and frustrations and fears we all deal with.
My area f aggravation with the Caleb story was nearing the end when he was older and becoming more frail and his daughter reached out to him and he was short, impatient and disrespectful...then his sons treated her the same as he did, and then he noticed. Very demeaning actions toward women and that bothers me

Insightful Narration
I loved it! This book has given me a better understanding on Caleb's life and his impact to the Jewish community. The narrator was on point and had a so nicer tone to follow through!
