Publisher's summary

What doesn't kill you . . . seriously messes with your love life. Nava is happily settling into her new relationship, and life is all giddy joy and stolen kisses.

Except when it's assassins. Talk about a mood killer.

She and Rohan are tracking the unlikely partnership between the Brotherhood and a witch who can bind demons, but every new piece of the puzzle is leaving them with more questions than answers.

And someone doesn't appreciate them getting close to the truth. Go figure.

On top of that, a demon known only as Candyman has unleashed a drug that's harming users in extremely disturbing ways. Nava vows to take this demon down. But will life as she knows it survive this mission, or will this be the one time she should have looked before she leapt? Happily-ever-after? Barring death, she's got a real shot at it.

Can't Get Enough!!

The Unlikeable Demon Hunter:. Crave, by Deborah Wilde and narrated by Hollie Jackson.
I swear I can not get enough of Nava Katz and her adventures. Her snark and dark humor are totally my cup of tea. Not gonna lie, this one ripped my heart out, but I'm all in to find out what happens next!!!! If you want to experience Nava and her friends more, listen to the audio book, Hollie Jackson is magnificent!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Sexy, smart, and funny as hell!!

Ever since I read the first book, this series has gone on my short list of books I download as soon as they become available. I’m happier than a 10 year old with a Harry Potter book, well except for the language and sex. I’ve never been much of a Hollie Jackson fan, but she nails Nava’s voice, personality, and does a pretty excellent job of the rest of the cast also. All the books are funny as hell, laugh out loud, irreverent, “I cannot believe she said that!”, funny. The supporting cast is full of sexy men Nava get’s to work with and a demon BFF. Nor are these “chick” books, so guys...get to reading! Oh yea, the, plot, the stories, they are never boring...what else do you need!

good storyline

I keep forgetting this is a young adult series, but I still like it and I'm looking forward to read what happens next.

Not sure I'm getting the next one

So this is Book 4 in the Unlikable Demon Hunter series. This installment evolves around Nova's first real assignment where she must hunt a demon drug dealer. In the midst of completing her assignment she also continues to search for members of the brotherhood who are possessing demons.

This part of the book was the most interesting. However, the book seems to have too many extended love scenes. It's liked they are dragged on and on for no apparent reason.

Nova is still the same. No development. No growth. No more maturity or intelligence or skills. You would think they would put her in some intense training and try to get her up to speed. But no...instead it's just hang out with your boyfriend and figure it out as you goo along. Like really?

I also don't see the purpose of Nova purposely being annoying. Maybe this book is just a bit to YA for me. The demon drug dealer storyline should have gotten more of the story. The rest is teenage hormones, childish bickering, and overdone love scenes.

2 Stars - Decent. Has Potential. Possibly a good idea for a story but something could have been better. Sometimes it's because the author put too little or too much into the wrong parts of the story. New authors sometimes fall in this ranking and move up as their series progresses. Doesn't mean I hated it. Just means it was missing something to push it over the hump.
