The powerful new novel from the Sunday Times bestselling author of Don't Let Me Go.
Lainey Hollingsworth has spent her whole life on the outside of a secret. Her mother would never discuss the reasons she abandoned Italy when Lainey was a new born, nor has she ever stayed in touch with the family she left behind.
Now Lainey’s mother is dead, taking the secret with her, and leaving Lainey free to find out about her roots. Her husband, Tom, appears supportive, until he hits her with a bombshell that shatters the very foundations of their marriage. Another secret Lainey never knew anything about.
Shaken, but more determined than ever to find out who she really is, Lainey takes her children to Umbria in search of answers. What she finds in the sleepy, sun-baked village of her birth turns her world inside out.
Another great Susan Lewis but felt that Tom Hollingsworth’s approach was unlikely snd lacking in reality.
Susan Lewis' books are just excellent. This one was great but not quite as good as the other ones of hers that I have read, which are the best books I've read.
Is there anything you would change about this book?
I've read all of Susan lewis books I am an avid fan. This one was very good but no way as good as all her others. I must say it is still a very good read though this author is amazing I literally wait for the dates of any new releases from her
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
It was not disappointing
Do you think The Truth About You needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No, I think everything was answered and I'm not left wondering about anything
Any additional comments?
Love Susan Lewis
